Our new City

LONDON
My sister and I are from Bogotá and
we decided to move to London last
month because we want to study at
a important British university. What
we liked the most were the Parks and
modern transportation, but what we
disliked the most was the weather
because it’s colder than Bogotá and
it rains a lot. We have to attend
classes from Monday to Friday in the
mornings and in the afternoons we
can visit new places and meet new
people. Last weekend we got up
early, had breakfast and then we
went jogging in St James’s Park, this
park is located near Buckingham
Palace and is one of the Royal Parks
of London and also the most
beautiful in the city. Then we went
back to our rented apartment. My
sister took a shower while I read the
news.After we were ready, we
decided to go to the city center for
lunch, so at noon we left the
apartment and took the metro to the
downtown.
At 2pm after we had lunch, we went
to see some places of interest in
London.
At 5pm we had a cup of coffee with
some new friends, and then we went
back to the apartment.
At 7 pm we prepared something for
dinner, and we watched television. At
10 pm we went out with some friends
and we had a few drinks in a local
pub.
London has an active nightlife, and
many places to visit!!
My brother and I last month
visited the Tower of London,
last month a tourist attraction
which was built more than nine
hundred and thirty years ago,
we also visited the London wax
museum, but we could not
miss one of the most famous
parks, Hyde Park. We managed
to find a giant Christmas fair.

Last month with my brother we

also wanted to do activities
because we wanted to make
the most of our time together
we decided to take the bus
tour in this it is possible to get
off at any place you want, we
also wanted to see London
from the top in the shard
building and since my brother
loves soccer we visited the
Chelsea FC stadium.
What we liked the most about
this city were the people, the
weather, the many activities
that are on hand to make the
most of the time. In this city we
fell in love with its streets of
small houses and its small
businesses.
