Specific details of your job functions are spelt out in the Job Description which would be made available to you by
the HR representative upon assumption of duty.
The Company reserves the right to assign you other duties and responsibilities beyond those spelt out in the Job
Description if the situation so demands.
4. Term
The duration of the Agreement shall be for two months from the effective date and may be renewed subject to
continued execution of the project and satisfactory performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
The effective date of employment may be varied depending on Client commitment and the variation shall be com-
municated in writing.
5. Place of Work
Your duty station shall be determined by Client project and a vehicle shall be provided for use by a team of four.
You shall however bear the costs in the event of total relocation.
If you are unable to attend work for any reason you should inform Projects Supervisor, ND as soon as possible to
enable other arrangements to be made.
6. Trainings:
Technical and OHS trainings will be provided by Ericson and i engineering between the month of November and
December 2020 and a training plan shared prior to the dates of the training. The mode of training will be both
virtual and physical.
The cost of the trainings provided will be borne by i engineering Kenya and a training bond agreement for a period
of not more than six months will be signed to this effect.
7. Company Property
You will be responsible for the safekeeping and return, in good condition and order, of all the Company’s property
which may have been assigned for your use or custody.
8. Confidentiality
All information regarding the Company is strictly confidential and cannot be discussed with a third party without
the Company’s specific permission and/or as required under any law. The Company will hold personal information
about you as personnel records and will abide by privacy law and disclose this information only to the relevant
third parties.
9. Disciplinary Procedures
Minor misconduct will be dealt with and resolved informally. In cases of gross misconduct, depending on the
seriousness of the breach of terms and conditions of contract or conduct and performances of your duties, one of
the following disciplinary actions may be taken.
(a) A verbal warning which will be confirmed to you in writing and recorded in your personnel file.
(b) A first written warning, which will be confirmed to you in writing and recorded in you personnel file
(c) A final warning which would be confirmed to you in writing advising that further misconduct could lead to
termination of the Agreement.
10. Termination
You will be expected to give a 1-month notice to the company or pay a months' salary in lieu of notice in the event
of your decision to resign. Mutually, the company shall give you a 1-month notice or pay a months' salary in lieu of
notice when the company no longer needs your services.
