One of the key measures of the effectiveness of a company’s employer brand is to measure
their referrals. In fact, 45 percent of the employers who participated in the survey note that their
current employees are the most preferred source of information to candidates. 47 percent of
employers rate “ex-employees” amongst the top three preferred mediums through which em-
ployers provide information. According to the Study, learning and career development oppor-
tunities would make at least 37 percent employees recommend an employer. And a “rewarding
culture” would make 20 percent employees recommend that employer to others. A comparison
