CHARLES DARWIN
- He is a British naturalist,scientist,
and geologist.
- Wrote the book On the Origin of
Species
- He presented the theory of
evolution
● Darwin first proposed the theory of
evolution through natural selection in On
the Origin of Species, published in 1859,
Darwinian and it is now widely accepted as the best
available explanation for how life on this
Revolution planet evolved.
Darwinian Revolution
A species is a group of organisms that interact and produce fertile offspring when
they interbreed. Adaptations from previous animals have passed on to living
beings. The process of evolution is explained by natural selection:

Because of limited resources, more species are created than can live.Organisms
compete for energy and fail to meet their basic needs. Individuals within a group
differ in their characteristics; some of these characteristics are heritable, meaning
they can be transferred it onto offspring. Several other variations are more suited to
surviving and reproducing in their native environment than others. Individual people
who are better adapted are more likely to reproduce, passing on copies of their genes
to future generations. Species with the strongest adaptations survive, while others go
extinct.
Intellectual Revolution
● Before Socrates, the word "Intellectual Revolution" was used to
refer to Greek speculation about "nature" (roughly 600 to 400
BCE). As a result, other technical words include "pre-Socratic,"
"non-theological," and "first philosophy." Remember that the
"philosophy" in question has nothing to do with ethics and much
more to do with physics or logic.
● It is an enlightenment movement that began in the 17th century,
when people were more motivated by new scientific and
technological advances, as well as the cultural relativism that
resulted from the explorations.
Intellectual Revolution
● is the time period when advancements of science & technology
changed people's perceptions and beliefs.
● Intellectual revolutions that shape culture are knowledge that we
access in the past, present, and future and maybe even some value.
They must also be continually mindful of their own failures, in addition
to their duty to awaken society. Since they, too, are human, this is the
reality. Everyone is flawed in some way. These defects could restrict
their comprehension, which could be harmful to society. Intellectual
revolutions must also be liberal in order to make positive contributions
to the improvement of our communities.
