Making the Bed

Material
1. Tray Instrument : to store sterile gloves
2. Fouerster : to hold or take sterile medical devices and materials maintained in sterile
conditions, if taken by hand it is likely that the device will not be sterile
3. Large Sheet : bed linen for patients
4. Upper sheet : third layer sheet to cover the bed area
5. Bottom Sheet : to cover the bed area
6. Mattress : clotch to weld carbon water
7. Covered sheet : keep from dust before the patient arrives
8. Pillow case : to protect the pillow from dust
9. Bed : used by someone who is sick
10. Pillow : As a headdress while sleeping
11. Blanket : to protect from dust impurities
12. Appron : Personal protective equipment

Step without patients:

1. Prepare supplies and materials
2. Wear an apron and wash your hands 6 steps in running water and dry hands completely
using single use towel
3. Wear gloves
4. Put up a large bed sheet, with the center line of the bed sheet right in the middle of the
bed
Insert the bed sheet under the bed on head area continued to legs area. Make angle of
both sides to form a triangle, don’t tuck all the side
5. Put up a matt approximately 30 cm from the edge of the bed
6. Put on the upper sheet on the matt
7. Insert the bed sheet tuck all the sides along with the matt and upper sheet
 8. Put on the bottom sheet pull of the bed on head area continued to legs area and put on the
blanket and vice versa, make a triangle. Folt the bottom sheet with a blanket and tuck all
the sides
9. Replace the pillow case and place it on the bed
10. Pair the cover sheet on the bed and close the entire bed
11. Realease apron and wash your hands 6 steps in running water and dry hands completely
using single use towel

Step with patients :

1. Prepare supplies and materials

using single use towel
3. Wear gloves
4. Put up a large bed sheet, with the center line of the bed sheet right in the middle of the
bed
Insert the bed sheet under the bed on head area continued to legs area. Roll the patient
towards you keeping him covered
5. Make angle of both sides to form a triangle, don’t tuck all the side
6. Put up a matt approximately 30 cm from the edge of the bed, turn the patient gently
towards you
7. Put on the upper sheet on the matt, roll the patient towards of you
8. Insert the bed sheet tuck all the sides along with the matt and upper sheet
9. Put on the bottom sheet pull of the bed on head area continued to legs area and put on the
blanket and vice versa, make a triangle. Folt the bottom sheet with a blanket and tuck all
the sides
10. Take a pillow and Replace the pillow case. Place it under the head patient
11. Realease apron and wash your hands 6 steps in running water and dry hands completely
using single use towel
