ukurannya pun jauh berbeda. Namun pada gambar, akar tumbuhan lavender
terlihat seperti akar serabut.
memiliki akar lateral.
The root is one of the organs in plants which generally functions to strengthen the
plants, absorb water and nutrients from the soil, and transport it from the soil to
the stems and leaves. Lavender has taproot. Taproot is a root system that is
commonly owned by eudicot plants where the main root grows from the radicles.
Main roots are usually easily distinguished from lateral roots because the growth
of the main root is much faster than the lateral root so that the size is much
different. But in the picture, the roots of lavender plants look like fibrous roots.
This is because the form of taproots in lavender plants is filiform or shaped like a
thread. This root is formed if the taproot grows small like a fibrous root and also
has a lateral root.
Tulang daun merupakan stuktur penguat helaian daun. Struktur tulang daun terdiri
atas ibu tulang daun (costa), tulang cabang (nervus lateralis), dan urat daun (vena).
Daun lavender bertulang daun menyirip (penninervis).
pangkal sampai ujung daun. Kemudian, dari ibu tulang daun tumbuh tulang
cabang ke samping kiri dan kanan. Umumnya tulang daun penninervis dimiliki
oleh tumbuhan dari kelas eudicot.
Leaf bone is a reinforcement structure for leaf strands. The structure of the leaf
bone consists of the main leaf bone (costa), branch bones (lateral nerve), and leaf
vein. Lavender has pinnate-shape leaves (penninervis). In the penninervis leaf
bone system, the position of the branch bones is arranged on the right and left side
of the main leaf bone. So, the leaf has one main leaf bone in the middle, from the
base to the tip of the leaf. Then, from the main leaf bone grows branch bones to
the left and right. Penninervis leaf bone generally belongs to eudicot plants.
Phyllotaxis is determined from the leaf pattern on the stem nodes. In lavender
plants, the leaf pattern is folia opposita. This pattern is characterized by each leaf
book containing two petioles in pairs in opposite positions. The position of the
leaves on the lavender when compared to other nodes is crossed. The position of
the leaves at the node before or next is to face rotating 90 ° to the observed leaf.
So, for example, if the odd nodes the leaves positions are on the left and right,
then the leaves positions are in front and back.
Lavender has a real stem and can be easily distinguished from other organs, often
called caluis. It has woody stem (ligneous) with a circular cross-section, clearly
visible nodes, and a hairy surface (pilosus). Lateral branches grow on each node
of the stem. However, lateral branches growth is not as fast as the main stem due
to the effect of apical dominance, which is a condition where the closer an axillary
bud is active an apical bud, the more inhibited its growth. Therefore, if the tip of
the main stem is cut, then the lateral branches will grow faster because of the loss
of the effect of apical dominance.
