GLOBALIZATION

• Globalization is a process of interaction and integration between individuals, businesses,

and governments from many countries.
• Globalization is a word that refers to the process by which trade and technology have
united and linked the world.
• Globalization is a term that refers to the increasing interdependence of the world's
economies, cultures, and populations because of cross-border trade in goods and
services, technology, and investment, people, and information movements.
• Globalization is a process helped by information technology that is fueled by worldwide
trade and investment.
• Globalization is essentially about the world being more interconnected. Countries are
more connected today than at any point in history, mainly because of the factors such as
air travel, containerized sea shipping, international economic agreements and legal
treaties, and the Internet.
• Globalization is a social, cultural, political, and legal phenomenon. Socially, it results in
more interaction between diverse communities. Culturally, globalization refers to the
interchange of ideas, values, and artistic expression between cultures. Politically,
globalization has shifted the focus of attention toward intergovernmental organizations
such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). Legally,
globalization has transformed the process through which international law is developed
and enforced

GLOBALIZATION
To personally define globalization, I must read and understand all the given descriptions
and ideas that I have researched and gathered above. As I’ve understood the concept of
globalization, for me, it is a process of human engagement and integration with corporations and
governments from different nations. It is about exporting and importing goods and services from
different countries around the world to have a variety of commodities as well as to introduce a
foreign trade between these countries to aid the need of a specific country. With that, I can also
say that globalization is a process that is aided by information technology and is propelled by
international trade and investment. Since before, people have been exchanging products for
nearly as long as they have existed. However, in the first century BC, an extraordinary incident
occurred. For the first time in history, Chinese luxury goods began to appear on the other side of
the Eurasian continent — in Rome. They arrived after hundreds of miles on the Silk Road. Trade
had ceased to be a local or regional activity and had begun to become global in scope, and that
is when globalization was born. As a result of cross-border trade in goods and services,
technology, and investment, as well as movements of people and information, the world's
economies, cultures, and populations are becoming increasingly interdependent. Globalization
is a term that refers to the increasing interdependence of the world's economies, cultures, and
populations. It is a term that refers to the process by which trade, and technological
advancements have brought the world together and linked it together. Globalization also enables
developing countries to catch up with developed ones through increasing manufacturing,
diversification, economic expansion, and improvements in living standards. Therefore,
globalization, in its simplest form, is the process by which the world becomes more connected.
Countries are more connected than at any point in history now, owing to factors such as air travel,
containerized sea shipping, international economic agreements and legal treaties, and the social
media. With that, those are my own understanding regarding the essence and thoughts of
globalization
