MULTIPLE-MEANING WORDS
Some words have more than one meaning. For instance, the word book can either
mean “a published text,” or “to save.” When you see a multiple-meaning word,
use context clues and the part of speech to determine its meaning.
A. DIRECTIONS: Read each sentence. Then, choose the definition that matches the
meaning of the underlined word. Write the letter of your choice on the line.
