Excel is undoubtedly one of the tools most used by companies

worldwide and is present in hundreds of thousands of

business computers. This is because its versatility makes it

difficult tasks simple and gives those who know how to use

their functions, tools for analyzing information and ways to

perform complex calculations, which before would generate

Using MS Excel in either small or big organizations

both have the same advantages since it helps the employees

keep track of important reports and records. There are

Excel, and this will result to struggling in the work force

of their organization but as they go on using it, they learn

and it will be a big help for them and the organization.

The reason and motivation why the researchers chose to

conduct this study is because the result could help find out

if MS Excel is effective enough for employees working for an

organization. This study could serve as a point of reference

on how to sustain the effectiveness of MS Excel in an

organization.

The outcome of this study will encourage employees to

make use of MS Excel and learn more of its available

features. The researchers also know that this will help the

employees make their work easier by encoding invoices and

records in the MS Excel spreadsheet.

The researchers would like to uncover more of the

effectiveness of MS Excel in an organization. The

researchers want the employees and the organization they

work for to benefit from the research result since it will

be of great use for them.

organization.

1. What knowledge does the employees have about the

spreadsheet?

2. What contributions can Microsoft Excel give to the

organization?

Significance of the Study:

The study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of

Microsoft Excel in the work force of the organization with

hope that the findings would be useful to the following

parties:

The employees can use the Microsoft Excel faster and

efficient though it gives a complex equation to help through

questions about company finances, sales, inventory and so

much more.

The company, spreadsheet knowledge is imperative in

order for the likelihood of success in the job market.

The interns would thrive and apply their knowledge in

the business that skills and competencies are drawing

significant context of business.

This research will further expand on the specific

project to better understand of the market needs and

skills in earlier core courses and more advanced major

courses could incorporate a more specific skillset.

The study focuses on the importance of effectiveness of

Microsoft excel to the business organizations to make a

better and easy work. The study covers what Microsoft excel

can contribute to the business that would help the

businesses make their work effectively on their

organization.

can contribute to the work of the employees much better and

with less hardship.

Definition of terms

Spreadsheet. It is a computer program used for

accounting and recording data using rows and columns into

which information can be entered.

work, either in a country or area or in a particular company

or industry.

Data Visualization. This pertains to the representation

of information in the form of a chart, diagram, picture,

etc.

Microsoft Excel. It is a program software program

produced by Microsoft that allows users to organize, format

and calculate data with formulas using a spreadsheet system.

Employee. This pertains to a person who is hired to

work for a business, firm, etc., in return for payment.

Organization. It is an organized body of people with a

particular purpose, especially a business, society,

association, etc.

De Facto Standard. It is a format, language, or

protocol that has become a standard because it is widely

used and recognized by the industry.
