Specific Goal: To inform the audience about cyberbullying.
Central Idea (Thesis Statement): To inform the audience about the social media
platforms used for cyberbullying and the effects of cyberbullying.

INTRODUCTION

I. Attention Getter You are fat, you are ugly, you are useless, you are stupid’’,
How do you feel when someone calls you by that rude names? Disappointed?
Angry? Sad? That is one of Cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is not only just putting a
harsh comment on ‘ugly’ photos or videos in order to against other people, but
also just to satisfy themselves to seek an attention.

II. Credibility Statement I have read about cyberbullying many time and have
studied on research on internet. Cyberbullying can happen anywhere at any time,
even in places where you normally feel safe, such as home. A Lot of
cyberbullying can be done anonymously. Therefore, it is important to be
knowledgeable about how to protect cyberbullying.

III. Background of Topic According to a global survey, Malaysia is among the

world's top countries where parents have reported their children experiencing
cyberbullies. In an article published recently by tech review site Comparitech,
Malaysia ranked sixth among 28 countries in a survey on cyberbullying around
the world. When compared to only Asian countries, Malaysia ranked number
two, behind India, which was placed first on the list. The survey was conducted
by LPSOS - an international market research company - and it involved 20,793
respondents worldwide in 2018.

IV. Relevancy Statement So, cyberbullying can happen anywhere around us

whether we realize it or not, cyberbullying can still happen. Our children are also
potentially involved with this cyberbullying, so as parents or brothers and sisters
we need to be concerned with this problem of cyberbullying.
