1. Request memo
We would like to request a total of ₱300,000 budget for the perfume bottle and
manufacturing it needed on the new business site.
We have attached a file containing the estimates of every material and services
required. We hope for a fast response.
2. Confirmation Memo
1. Three new salespeople for the southern region are to be hired. These
salespeople will be on board by December 1st and in the field by December 15 th.
2. These people may be paid up to ₱8,000 per month as a base salary and will
receive the standard 10 percent commission paid to all salespeople. You are not
authorized to pay any of them over ₱8,000; and if you can keep the average salary

3. The three new people will spend their first month in the field where they will
learn how we sell our product line. Then they will each be given a sales territory.
If you have any questions, please call me. If I do not hear from you within the week, I shall
assume that this memo accurately reflects our conversation, and you are taking steps to
hire the three salespeople.

4. Report Memo
We would like to update you on the progress our group has made on the these
past few months about the production supply our company has made to supply your
resellers.
As of November 10, 2021, the number of product that was made for delivery is
10,000 pieces and there are still 4,000 to follow.
We really appreciate the wait you’ve done for us. We will deliver the product in
due time without delays. Thank you.
5. Informal Result Memo
In response to your request, I have examined the large number of complains we recently
received from our customers. All in all, there were 200 complaints.
FINDINGS
1. Product Quality. Two-thirds of the complaints said that the product quality is poor.
Some says that are perfume doesn’t last like a day and I think this is there main
problems.
2. Refunds. The second most received complaint is refunds. It is difficult to obtain a
sale refund. Especially that some was bought through the resellers.
3. Price. The third problem is the price. The cited problem is the price is too high for
their budget and unable to buy again in case they don’t want the smell.
RECOMMENDATION
1. Ensure that our product quality is made from the best materials to avoid the certain
problem at the future. Manufacturers and personnels must double check the quality
of materials for better product use.
2. Send a letter to the retailers to inform them that we will refund the customers that
needs refunds.
3. Having a marketing people review if there is a problem in our pricing and assure
people that our prices are reasonable.
