主祷文的第二愿便是：愿祢的国降临。当主耶稣教
导我们要渴望神的国降临时，我们要渴望的是什么
呢？什么是神的国？神国的本质是什么？为何值得
我们渴望它的降临？我们当作什么使这愿望早日达
成？

Wars, Expansion and Redemption

The third essence of the Kingdom of God is its wars and
expansion. One of the descriptions in the Bible regarding
the coming of the Kingdom of God is warfare. Christ will
take over the authority of nations and defeat the power of
Satan, sin, and death (1Co 15:24; 2Co 2:14-15, 10:5; Eph 4:8;
Rev 11:15). In Matthew 13, the parable of the mustard seed
and the leaven teaches us that the Kingdom of Heaven
though starting small will expand extraordinarily in quality
and quantity.

The fourth essence of the Kingdom of God is redemption.

The continuous expansion of the Kingdom of God
ultimately overpowers the authority of evil and death,
leading to salvation and redemption of the people of God.
Because of sin, we all live in futility and pain. The Son of
Man came, so that mankind shall be delivered from sin and
to enjoy freedom and glory as children of God (Rom 8:21-
23).

争战·扩张性·救赎
神国的第三个本质是它的争战和扩张性。圣经
对神国降临其中一个描述是争战。基督要把地
上列国的权柄夺过来，并击败魔鬼撒旦、罪和
死亡的权势 (林前15:24； 林后2:14-15, 10:5；
弗4:8；启11:15)。马太福音13章中，芥菜种和
面酵的比喻教导我们天国开始时虽然微小，后
来却在质和量上有惊人的扩展。
神国的第四个本质是救赎性。神国的不断扩而
最终战胜了罪恶和死亡的权势，这意味着神国
子民的拯救和得赎。因罪的缘故，我们都活在
虚空和劳苦中，人子来便是把人从罪恶中拯救
出来，并让他们享神儿女的自由和荣耀 ( 罗
8:21-23)

Conclusion
When we understand the nature of the Kingdom of God, we understand why the
children of God long for the coming of His Kingdom. 1) The children of God are
proud of the Heavenly Father (first wish), naturally they will long for the coming of
His Kingdom in which God is fully in control; all glory and power are vested in Him. 2)
Those of us who have tasted the first fruits of the glory and grace of His Kingdom,
are eager for the coming of Kingdom in full measure. 3) The coming of His Kingdom
means the defeat of the authority of evil and death; death and sin no longer reign
over the children of God. 4) In the Kingdom of God, we enjoy all the abundance and
glory as children of God.

How then do we translate our wish, for the coming of God’s Kingdom, into action?
The key for the coming of the kingdom of heaven is the spread of the gospel. Jesus
said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world
as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Mt 24:14) As we long for
the coming of God’s Kingdom, we strive fervently to preach the gospel to the nations.
Mission work is a command given to the church, it’s not an option. The Great
Commission starts with praying: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his
harvest.” (Mt 9:37-38) Jesus commands us to pray for the harvest. Do you long for the
coming of God’s Kingdom? Let’s response to Jesus’ command by falling down onto
our knees to pray.

总结
当我们理解神国的本质后，我们便明白为何神的儿女当渴望神的国降临。
1) 神的儿女以天父为荣 (第一愿)，自然会渴望神的国降临 (第二愿)，因为神国
度是神完全掌权的国度，所有的荣耀和权柄都归于祂。2) 我们这些初尝神国
的荣耀和恩典的人，自然更渴望神国的完全的降临。3) 神国度的降临代表罪
恶和死亡的权势被打败，神的儿女不再受死亡和罪的辖制。4) 在神的国度
中，我们得享一切神儿女的丰盛和荣耀。
我们如何把对神国度降临的愿望化为行动的能力呢？天国降临的关键是福音
的广传。主耶稣说：“这天国的福音要传遍天下，对万民作见证，然后末期才
来到。”(太24:14) 当我们渴望神国的降临便要努力的向万民传福音。宣教不是
教会的选项，而是主给教会的使命。而大使命的遵行要从祷告开始，因为“要
收的庄稼多，做工的人少。所以，你们当求庄稼的主打发工人出去收他的庄
稼。＂(太9:37-38) 主吩咐我们要为禾场祷告，而最终祷告者成为我们向主祷
告的回应。你愿意神国降临吗？那请从你的膝盖开始行动吧！
