II. Express your thoughts and ideas on the following questions:

1. What do you want to be in life?

- As an individual I want to be successful in life. Back then when I was grade school student there are a lot of
things that confuse me. Aside from that anything that I see in my sorroundings tempt me to get it
immediately. My parents got irritated about those things because I am demanding. However, as time goes by I
realized that things should be treasure and care about so that it will last. Also, when I have the mindset to
think about what would be my future is, it might be possible to any individual that she/he succeed in life.
Before we reached our dreams successful we should work hardly and determined on the things that is really
important.

- Well in fact, as we are in the modern era, some things are always there for us to help in any circumstances.
Just like what we’re experiencing which is the pandemic, it is necessary for students that we have gadgets and
internet to attend our online classes everyday. As I have observe, a lot of people got panic to buy essential
things. In addition and prior to that I want things that would help me to succeed as an individual and also as
future educator. Furthermore, I want my family and friends to succeed in life not just only me.

- In general, even though we encounter difficulties we should always be responsible to solve it. But other
people chose stay on that problem because they think that it is good for them. We cannot deny that we want
things to get easier not just to be successful but also to help other people who is in the lower part of our
country.
2. Are you happy on earth if your life span reaches 150 years? Reason out.

- In my perspective, I don’t think that I will be happy when my life span reached 150 years. However, when
you ask other people about this thing they would answer it’s a blessing for them. I do believe and respect
what they do believed in. In practical saying, for me it is not easy to live with a hundered plus years old. In our
younger years of age we will encounter a lot scenarios that would teach us to be a strong independent
individual. This actively means if we spend our life withpositive people with good memories I think your life
will be happy too.

- As we can see what’s happening in our country do you think it is easy to live with this kind of events? Do you
think you’ll be happy? Would accept the fact that some of people will forget you? However this will make us
happier as we engage with the things we think it is good for us.Also it is difficult to live when we have sickness
and illnesses.

- In conclusion, on the record of guiness book of record we will see that there are people who live with long
age such as 150,160 and higher. I would be happy, amazed and blessed if I reached more than 150 years old
because that’s a gift to me. Besides I would spend the rest of my life with family and next generation of our
family as well.

3. Is there a time on earth when robots are no longer controlled by man?

- In this idea/thought I do not believe there would be a time that robots are no longer controlled by a man.
Because as time goes by science and technology will improve more than we expect it to improve. We cannot
deny that robots are really important in our life just to make things done easier. For example in the country of
Japan, people there are vital and really engaged in any technologies and sciences. Experts always think other
things to invent just to help their countrie’s economy and political perspective. In addition, they country is
really rich when it comes to people whose smart and very literate in technologies. Restaurants and hospitals
and other establishments there are controlled by the robots. Before they do things manually but now they
things things with the help of science and teachnology.

- I can say that when the time comes robots or even science and technology would control the whole world.
How do I say so? It is because we’re in the modern generation. All things will always improve and we cannot
control that things to happen. Only it will stop when earth will be gone.

4. Is the Philippines today (2018) lagging behind Asian countries in Science and Mathematics? Support your
Answer

- While the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study 2019 indicated that the Philippines trails
behind 57 other nations in Math and Science achievement, the study also revealed that less than half of Grade
4 students only received instructions that were "very clear." In terms of science instruction, 48 percent said
they received high-clarity instruction, 36 percent said they received moderate-clarity instruction, and 16
percent said they received low-clarity education. In terms of science and technology here in our country even
the mathematics of engineering is difficukt to answer. However, there will be a time that Filipinos haave
always Ranked in different area of science and mathematics. As we observe during the time of late presidents
Filipinos always get in touch when it comes to these that matters the most to them. Furthermore, Philippines
is one of the country here in Asia that lower the numbers of Filipinos when it come sto these things.

Several reasons have been recognized by educators and graduate student researchers as contributing to
Filipino students' poor science performance. Teachers' quality, the teaching-learning process, the school
curriculum, instructional tools, and administrative support are all factors to consider.

5. What are your suggestions to promote betterment of Science and Technology in the Philippines?

- My suggestion to promote the betterment of science and technology in the Philippines is that we, as their
fellow we sould consider their hardwork when it comes to the improvement and betterment of science and
technology. In addition and prior to these things Filipinos always think that their inventions would not be
appreciate by the government of the Philippines. They think also that it is better for them to leave our country
to get higher payment on their inventions. Well, I think if I will be given a chance to be a sciencetist it is better
for me and my family to choose high payment rather than lower offer of payment.To sum it up the promotion
of science and technology will always be a great idea for the improvement of the whole country as well. And
for the improvement of living of many Filipino people.
