Advantages 

A.  Proper behavior in workplace will be well practiced

- The executive’s action will serve as a lesson to others to behave properly in the

workplace.

B.  Safer workplace

- As the company make sure that the executive will not do it again, the company will have

a safe environment especially for the ladies

C.  Understand working relationship with one another

- This will serve as a lesson to others that in work there is still a boundary that should be

respected

Disadvantages

A. Cost of counseling

- This will be an additional cost for the company

B.  Consistency of monitoring 

- This does not guarantee that they can monitor the executive all the time there may be

some instances where the one who monitor the executive is busy

C. What you have learned in counseling is not properly applied 

 - It really depends on how the executive will apply it to his life because no matter how
much counseling he go thru if he does not want to change anything or apply the things he
learn it will all be useless.
CASE STUDY 4
1. Develop a system that automatically removes hurtful post and tracks post with
unethical/improper words.
Advantages

A. Higher content sensitivity

- Because the system will scan the content of a post if it can caused damage an individual

before it can be posted.

B. Safer social media or internet platform

- Because it automatically removes hurtful post, meaning there is negativity and bullying.

C. Elimination of unethical content that caused private issues to be publicly addressed

- Since the system automatically removes unethical content that should be private.

Disadvantages
A. Posts to raise awareness might get affected

- There maybe some instances where the system might misinterpret the post and banned it

which can affect those who are just trying to raise awareness

B. Development may cause intervention to both user and makers

- Since they are updating the system the user and makers will be intervening which can

cause some issues

C. Cost of developing the system 

- They will need programmers who can effectively do the job and those programmers

requires a high-performance fee

 2. Proper punishments or consequences to the students who will post unethical behaviors

ADVANTAGES

a. help students to prevent cyberbullying or any other unethical behaviors in or out the
social media
- this can be a lesson to them to stop cyberbullying
b. puts an end to cyberbullying or harassment
- because students can be able to know what is right and wrong
c. to prevent suicides and persons that affects their mental health because of cyberbullying
- Since cyberbullying can cause suicides and other harmful things, by implementing proper
consequences to students who will do unethical behaviors, this can help people who are
experiencing being cyber bullied in school

DISADVANTAGES

a. it might lead to bigger problems in terms of their parents

- Not all parents will be in favor of this rule

b. it can also create problem with the bully student

- Since the school are the ones who implement the rules, some schools might implement a
rule that is too much or excessive.
c. False accusation
- They might experience false accusation of a student, and resulting to punish a wrong
student

3. Launch a program that will help the students deal with cyberbullying and how to protect
their accounts

Advantages;

a. Students will have more knowledge about the cause and effects of cyberbullying
-because this can help the students to know what can happen with cyberbullying and how can
they prevent it

b. Be aware and ready on what they’ll do if they encounter such unethical behavior in social
media
- The program can help the students widen their knowledge and what action should they do
to deal with it if it happened to them

c. Awareness about their actions

- This can help students be aware if what they’re posting on social media is appropriate or
not.

Disadvantages:

a. Some students gets bored during programs

- Since some students find this program boring, they will just do unnecessary things and
sleep.

b. Not all will are willing to listen and cooperate

-Some students just sit but don’t listen to the host resulting to no improvement at all

c. They don’t take these programs seriously

-Students who doesn’t take this kind of program seriously are the ones who doesn’t attend and
make excuses because some of them don’t find this kind of program helpful to them
