Using correct, clear and effective language, and on the basis of your understanding on marketing,
upload a video as to how you as a student (mainstream first year or ECP second year) of CPUT,
Clothing and Textiles department, prepare for the 10 th departmental Open Day, commencing on the
Thursday, 16th August, 2018. The project expects you to use marketing ideas, concepts, knowledge
and understanding and use the same to create a 2 minute (max time limit) video as to what was your
feedback as a first year level student attending the open day for the 1 st time and how did you use
marketing (either its yourself or the department) to reach out to the visitors (students and educators
from school and also private visitors) attending the open day.

The video should be such that, it sort of tells a complete mini story within the maximum allocated
time. You can be as creative as you can while recording your videos, using new and fresh ideas. The
best video/s score the best marks and get a chance to be uploaded on the CPUT social network along
with your name. The project involves one-third marks out of this term, so give it your best. The
flipgrid app is open and ready to upload if you willing to do so from now on until the 16 th of August,
2018 until 1pm. Anyone willing to upload after this will not be allowed to upload as the system
freezes after the deadline.
