Q. No. Question Description

remains? Once death occurs in a body, it undergoes a series of changes that occur in a
timely and orderly manner. Can you explain the different stages of it?

2 The data from the buried site is given below:

Bone Type of Len Race Sex Calculated
bone gth height
1 Humerus 37.2 Caucasian M
2 Femur 43.0 African- F
10
American
3 Ulna 24.4 Caucasian M
4 Femur 51.4 Caucasian M
5 Femur 42.9 African- F
American
6 Tibia 42.7 Caucasian M
Please identify if any of these bones came from the same person? Analyze the data and
find out the minimum number and the maximum number of bodies buried at this site?
Missing person database shows person name Wayne with age: 36, race: Caucasian and
height 6’2”. Do you think that he was buried at the site? Explain? Femur: Caucasian

structure of DNA:

5 (a) Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) plays a vital role in forensic science through
exonerating the innocent and convicting the guilty. The genetic material in DNA allows 4
the identification of the perpetrator by the processing and the analysis of biological
evidence transferred in the crime scene. Explain diffent types of DNA. How do they
differ from each other?

(b) Suppose you as a forensic expert have found out very small amount of DNA
