Activity Guide and Evaluation Rubric - Step 1 - Recognize The Course
1. Activity Description
This course is in English and as it is specified in the Rules and conditions for course
development: “The student must develop the proposed activities on due time,
in English. Contributions in different languages won´t be evaluated”.
Individual
The student must develop the following activities:
1. Update the profile, including a current picture where the student can be
identified.
2. Review all environments and download and analyze the syllabus of the course
at the Learning Environment to have a clear understanding of the proposal,
competences and contents to develop.

3. Visit the Course´s General forum at the Initial Environment and participate on
the Social Interaction Forum, sharing in English the following information:
● Student´s name
● Student´s group
● Skype user
● Professional profile
● Expectations with this course and the course language (English).
● Student´s name
● Course name
● Student´s group number.
6. According to the previous article, the contents outlined in the syllabus of the
course and your own understanding of the concepts, using your own words,
write an article abstract, answering the four questions proposed with one
paragraph of 100 to 200 words each one:

2. General Guidelines for the Development of Evidences to Submit
● The student must make sure the activity is written on his own words

with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.
