Dear merciful Lord, I trust you, I seek you, you are my God. May you always keep my loved ones safe especially my family. May you always guide my grandmother
who is away from us, that she would always be safe and wouldn’t feel the loneliness. Also keep my parents away from harm as they were doing their jobs to sustain
our needs. May you continue to bless my Lola Auntie Cho, Lolo Uncle Noel and Auntie Chia for they’re good deeds for us, for letting us stay in their house and
treating us a family of them. May you always guide Auntie Chia, Tita Neneng, and my younger brother on their studies, especially Auntie Chia for facing all the
struggles she would be encountered as a student in the College of Medicine. May you always help and guide Tita Nanny in doing her job and preparing our daily
foods. May you also keep the person I’m living with, my friends and our other relatives safe and away from harm and may you always Bless them. Also keep BTS
safe lord God, may you continue to also bless them and may you help them make more people happy.
May you also guide our teachers in doing their job to teach us, and may you also help them with the problems they were experiencing it may personal or the
struggles in teaching because of the new normal. May you also keep our front liners safe and away from harm, may they can also face all their struggles in life. The
priests and other parishioners to help them in guiding us as Christians. May you continue to bless them.
May the our president, the school principals, officer and other person who sits at higher positions and were in charged in running huge organizations,,,,,,,,,, and
establishments to have they’re present of mind to do their job, to always keep them safe and other members of their family, may you always continue to bless them
and may hey can face the struggles they were and will be facing.
May you also guide the poor to continue living their lives and to never give up on they struggles. The weak to have the strength to be happy in their lives and the
sick to have the strength to do their best to live, may they were happy living they’re life when they are strong. Ma you always keep them away from harm, may you
also bless them, to never give up on their struggles, and to have person to help them.
Lord God, may you help me to finish my studies and to reach m dreams and goals in my life. May I will know who I am, what I really wanted in life, because every
night I just wander for what I really wanted for. May you help me to stop myself from procrastinating and may I can pursue myself to the things I really wanted to
do. May you also guide me in my choices in life, for the struggles I’ll be experiencing and to lead me to the right path. May you also help me in my studies, for I am
really experiencing great problems right now. May you will let me have the right job or my dream job for me, and please let me to have my own house in the future
and to have the best job. For my selfish wants, to meet BTS, to buy they’re merchandise and albums, and I really wish to attend they’re concerts. Please let me
marry Taehyung, I know this is too much but I can’t help myself to dream such big things, I know it’s really impossible to happen, but just let me dream for those
things, I know not now but one day I will wake up in this dreams of mine and to realize what are the things really meant for me. Keep me safe and away from harm
always. May I can be happy and contented to the life I have right now and to never dream of living others’ lives.
I want to thank you for EVERYTHING you have given them, I won’t have them one by one but Lord God really I thank you! Thank you for giving us a BTS, for the
achievements they have reached and all. Thank you for the blessings and the life you have given me.
 Prayers: Distracted or Inspired?
We need to look at our every prayer with deeper thoughts. Prayer isn’t just closing our eyes, folding our hands and speaking. Prayer is much more
meaningful part of religion. Prayer is defined as an act of God, a god or another worship, such is and devotion, confession, praise, or thanksgiving. But
in everything we do in our lives there are distractions, and that includes our prayers. What would possibly be the distractions while praying? There
could also be something or someone who could inspire and deepen our relationship with God, who/what could that be?
When we set out to pray there could be some distractions that could take us away from an intimate conversation with God. It could be exterior to us,
like the noise we hear or interior on us, like the thoughts that wander on our minds while we are paying. But mostly the things that distracts us from
our prayers were the place, time, our “To-Do list” and our wandering thoughts. I’ve personally experienced this things. The place could distract us
from our prayers because of the physical things that could cause noise, for example our arguing neighbors or the sound produce by the cars horn or its
tires, if you are living near the road. The time can also disturb us from praying for example if we had so many things to do and it feels that everything is
in hurry and that we can’t stop ourselves to look at the clock or we prayed late at night and we can’t stop ourselves from yawning and closing our eyes
in sometimes we are drifted to sleep. Thinking about our “To-do List” can also divert our attention when we pray, this happens when we constantly
thinks of all the things that we need to do. And we often neglect our prayers when we start to wander our thoughts, like thinking deeply of something
that just pops-up on our minds or just thinking without knowing you were thinking about something and later on you will just realize that you were
reflecting about your immeasurable thoughts.
If there are distractions, we could also think that there is someone or something that could inspire us to strengthen and deepen our relationship with
God. For me, there was someone who inspired me to have my communication with God and that is my grandmother. She was the second cousin of my
grandfather, I know she was too far as a relative of mine but she was really nice to us, right now we are living on their house and they’ve accepted us-
with my brother as a family of them. I can say that she really is a religious person, she just never stops to remind me to never forget to talk to God in
everything I do, she was also the one who commenced us to pray the rosary, and attend Sunday’s mass even it’s on the TV because we merely do this
things while we’re at Iloilo. When I was also younger I was a lecture/commentator of our chapel at our barangay, while we are having our training for
it, it made me realize that this thing helps to strengthen my faith. Also, when I was in grade 6 I joined a youth camp, in which their activities helps a
person to reflect and repent in everything they have done. And when you grow up one day something will just make you realize that greater faith with
God could help you go through struggles and continue your struggles.
Most of us struggle during prayer and very few immediately fall into an ecstasy and are caught up in the Lord’s presence for hours on end. In the
future, we can find a way to prevent the obstacles when we pray. Also one day there would be something or someone to inspire us to strengthen our
faith with God. Let’s always remember that communication is the key into having a relationship with God. But having an effective and good
communication or prayers can lead into a better relationship and a bad or non-communication at all may result to a dim relationship with God.
