You will visit a school’s Learning Resources Center. This will give you an opportunity to examine
a Learning Resource Center or Multimedia Center and reflect on how it supports the teaching
learning process.
Be guided by the following:
1. After the visit, classify all the resources available using the table in List of Available
Learning Resources.
2. Analyze the table by answering the given question.
3. Create a learning portfolio that will show sample of technological material that can
be useful in instruction/teaching.
4. For purposes of reliability, electronic outputs should be encoded using Century Gothic
font size 12. Handwritten outputs should be rendered in print not in script
5. Enumerate all the learning resources available in each category.

Analysis:
1. Where the learning resources/materials arranged properly according to their function
and characteristics?
Yes its was arranged properly so that the students can easily access the information
when needed.
2. Do the guidelines and procedures facilitate easy access to the materials by the
teachers? Why? Why not?
Yes because the teachers and students can access the library and some computers
when they need it.
3. What are the strengths of this Learning Resource Center?
The main strength of the learning resource center is its attractiveness to the students.
A lot of pictures are posted on the walls, which by themselves, serve as learning
materials to the students.
4. What are its weaknesses?
The main weakness is its small physical size. The growing number of students makes it
difficult for them to fit in the learning resource center.
5. What suggestions can you make?
i suggest that they need to have a mobile charging station and a better internet
connection._______________________
