I. IDENTIFYING THE GLOBAL ISSUE/PROBLEM

People nowadays are more focused on giving so much on their time about elections and
pandemic without even noticing that there’s an even bigger crisis emerging and that is climate
change. Earth’s climate has been continuously changing ever since it was created. It becoming
hotter, colder, wetter and drier every year. According to the United States Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA), global climate change is causing our earth to warm at unusual and
increasingly dangerous temperatures. Many places have seen changes in rainfall, resulting in
more floods, droughts, or extreme rains, as well as severe heat waves. Oceans are warming and
becoming more acidic and sea levels are rising.

Scientific Consensus: Earth's Climate Is Warming

Temperature data showing rapid warming in the past few decades, the latest data going up to
2020. According to NASA, 2016 and 2020 are tied for the warmest year since 1880, continuing a
long-term trend of rising global temperatures.

II. OBJECVTIVES
Our main objective in conducting this activity is to be able to create an inclusive space
where anyone can be included whether you are a disable, young, old and even a kid. We chose
this action plan because we believe that social media is one of the most powerful and useful tool
for us to be able to address our platform and is very easy to get anyone’s attention. Considering
our financial capability as being a student, this idea will be very suitable and is very accessible
for us because social media allows people to interact in ways we could never imagine. It is quite
easy to catch up any information or ideas. Social media enables communication easier. We aim
to uplifts our voices with the regards of the issues and problems we are facing today, and we will
be facing in the future with a goal of just one click away.

III. DETERMINE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Each of us should have their own roles and responsibility for this activity to be done
successfully. Of course we have to consult first our instructor, Ms. Enn Merriell Largo if this
action plan will be suitable to conduct. In this group, we should participate equally and actively
engage in this in every steps and procedure so that all of us will be knowledgeable and aware of
the purpose on why we chose to conduct this action plan.

IV. DETERMINE YOUR NEEDS

Listed below are the tools and supplies we need.

 Cartoon- We will use this for our slogan

 Marker- We will be needing this for us to write our slogan in a cartoon

 Computer access- For the editing of our video presentation

 Internet access- For us to get legitimate source online

 Mobile Phone- For our documentation

V. WRITE THE ACTION PLAN
Part I. Statement of the Problem/Issue

The challenge that we are facing globally is climate change. It is the greatest existential
threat of our lifetime. The actions we are taking now will determine the future for the next
generation to come. Climate change is greater than any one of us, however it requires every
single one of us to unite and do something for us to save the world. We aim to raise awareness
to everyone through social media activism asserting that we should be responsible in our actions
and we should give more importance to the continuity of humankind above profit. Social media
activism is a platform that would raise awareness about the issues and concerns in connection
with climate change. Our plan is to create at least 5 minute more or less video presentation
regarding the causes and effects of climate change. In the video we will be creating, we will
show some example on how are we going to help preserving our world and making it a better
and safer place to live in with the simplest act we can contribute.

Part II. Task or steps to be carried out, the people responsible for each task and the deadline.

Listed below are the steps we will be conducting and the people assigned in each steps in doing
this activity.

 First, we will be collecting an information from different sources regarding the climate
change.

 Second, we will make a slogan or a poster with regards of our action plan.

 Third, we will make at least 3o seconds video showing on how to save water which is
assigned to Angelika Canane.

 Fourth, another 30 seconds video presentation showing that planting a single tree can
make a difference which is assigned to Brylle Montano (Implementation of planting will
be done in Brylle’s place)

 Fifth, another 30 seconds video presentation assigned to Krissian Mae Ebal showing
herself picking a plastics in her surroundings.

 Sixth, 30 seconds video presentation assigned to Edgar Provido Jr. encouraging the
viewer that regenerating of plastic materials will help to convert any plastics into new
products of higher and greater functionality.
