    1. “Empirical research in India in particular creates so many problems for the researchers”. State the problems
    that are usually faced by such researchers.

    2. “Research design in exploratory studies must be flexible but is descriptive studies, It must minimise bias and
    maximise reliability”. Discuss.

    3. Write short notes on :


    (a) Pantry and store audits
    (b) Projective techniques and Depth interviews

    4. Write a brief note on paired comparison and non paired comparison.

    5. “We can teach methods of analysis, yet any extensive research ................ requires something equally
    important : an organisation or synthesis which provides the essential structure into which the pieces of
    analysis fit”. Examine this statement and show how a good research report may be prepared.
