14 Check boom pivot pin retainer plates & bolts.
15 Check condition of bucket & other attachments.
16 Check boom, stick, & bucket links cracks.
17 Check bucket, stick & boom cylinders for leaks.
18 Check all pins/bushes for wear & adequate lube.
19 Check condition of all outside track guides and mounting bolts.
20 Check condition of all inside track guides & mounting bolts.
21 Inspect sprockets/segments - for any loose bolts & nuts.
22 Check all idlers for broken caps or broken/missing mounts bolts.
23 Check all track rollers for oil leaks, broken caps & missing bolts.
24 Check track adjusters for leaks & loose bolts.
25 Inspect travel motor pipes, hoses for leaks and proper mounting.
26 Check the condition of track s – worn out bushes, grouser plates & links.
27 Check all mirrors & mounting brackets.
28 Check bucket cylinder pins & bearings for play & lube.
29 Check for oil leaks around Splitter box/pumps.

2. Fire Suppression System

NOTE: “Power” light should flash intermittently showing that the system is active. If “Battery” light is illuminated, report this
immediately to your Supervisor. It is the first warning that the battery will require replacement.
3. Oil Samples: All S.O.S samples are to be labelled with machine number and compartment
Return all oil samples immediately to planner when finished sampling

15 Check condition of engine & radiator – mounts, leaks & dirt.
16 Check condition of radiator cooling fan, hoses & clamps.
17 Check exhaust extension unit – clamps, tightness & cracks.
18 Check condition of hydraulic cooling fan.
19 Check fuel tank for proper mounts & leaks.
20 Check level and condition of coolant
21 Cut and inspect condition of removed filters.
