2] Introduction Of Exam:
It’s not Police Bharati its MPSC PSI(police sub inspector) Exam
which is the one of the popular exam in the MPSC exams, Lots
of Aspirants who are police or want to become the part of police
force or want to become the IPS officer, these types of
Aspirants are interested in this exam.

3] Medium of Exam:
English and Marathi.

Not everything will be in Marathi and English. the questions


from English language will be in only and the questions from
Marathi language will be in Marathi only. here i am talking
about mains paper 1 which is language paper.

Introduction: to fill the vacancies of Police force under the
Home Department of Maharashtra Government, MPSC Conducts
the MPSC PSI(police sub inspector) Exam to fill the vacant posts
of PSI.

Class: Class B (Non gazetted Post)


Salary: 9,300-34,800 +Grade Pay 4300+ 4400 Dearness
allowance and other allowances.
Job Location (Location of Appointment): Maharashtra
Promotion: Assistant Police Inspector (Class B) & More
5] Eligibility for Exam:

 Citizenship: Indian
 Age Limit: Minimum 19 Years and Maximum (upper age)
31 years
 Upper age limit will be relaxed: Backward Class: up to age
of 34 Years.
 Proficient Player: up to age of 36 years.
 Proficient Player + Backward: 39 years.
 Ex-Serviceman: 36 Years.
 Ex-Serviceman + Backward: 39 years.
 Note: MPSC PSI Age limit will be calculated based on the
date given by MPSC in MPSC PSI exam Notification. Only
thing I want to tell you that if you are eligible for MPSC PSI
exam based on your age calculation it doesn’t mean that
you are eligible even your age is 1 month more that the
eligibility age.
 Educational Qualification: Degree from recognized
university or equivalent qualification prescribed by the
Government of Maharashtra.

Knowledge of Marathi language required.

Last Year aspirant is also eligible to take Preliminary


examination but

If internship or workshop experience is required to complete the


degree then that should be completed before the last date of
online application of MPSC PSI Main examination.

The degree holder must have completed the work of internship


or workshops with the actual work experience required to
complete the degree. This condition must be completed by the
prescribed date of acceptance of the mains Exam information.

 Physical Standards: there may be little bit change but


almost same as police bharti.
 Male: Height for PSI exam minimum should be 165Cm
(Barefoot), Chest: 79 cm without expansion and capacity
to expand 5 cm
 Female: Height 157 cm
 Persons with Disabilities: Not Eligible.
 Numbers of Attempts: Unlimited Attempts within age limit
for MPSC Exams.
 Others: apart from above things there is not any
requirement.

6] Phases of Exam:
 Prelim: 100 Marks (Combined Prelim with ASO and STI)
 MAINS: 200 Marks (Combined Paper 1 of mains Exam with
ASO and STI)
 PHYSICAL TEST: 100 Marks
 INTERVIEW: 40 Marks

7] How to apply for MPSC PSI Exam.

Application processes is fully online whereas you can pay fees


of exam offline. So, How to apply for MPSC PSI Exam is not
different from other exams, the processes is same for all
exams, but while applying for MPSC PSI exam Please check
your Physical details in MPSC Profile and then you can apply.
One more thing is that you won’t be able to apply for MPSC PSI
if Your Physical details are not equal or greater than eligibility.
Notification: Notification means the advertisement for MPSC PSI
Exam, Without Notification you won’t be able to apply for MPSC
PSI, in MPSC Advertisement there will be last date of
Application and number of vacancies for MPSC PSI Post. You
have to apply for MPSC PSI before last date of Online
Application.

Website then you can create it. Do not create your account if
you are in 12th Standard or Second Year of Graduation etc

Fees Payment Methods: Online and Offline (State Bank of India)
Fee payment is simple you can pay your MPSC PSI Exam fee
online or offline (State Bank of India). In offline mode you have
to generate challan and pay it in State bank of India. I will write

Download hall ticket: You will get your exam hall ticket before 7
days of exam or 15 days before the exam.

8] Nature of Exam: Offline-MCQ Based Questions Papers.

9] What is pattern of MPSC PSI exam?

MPSC PSI(police sub inspector) Exam Pattern is Simple, In PSI


exam Pattern there is preliminary examination, in PSI Pre exam
there is only one paper for three exams, then mains
examination with two papers each of 100 marks, Physical Test
and Interview of 40 marks.
10] How to Prepare For MPSC PSI Exam?
So, How to Prepare for MPSC PSI (police sub inspector) Exam?
This exam is different from other Group 2 exams like MPSC ASO
Exam and MPSC STI Exam. Overall Syllabus is same for almost
3 Papers. Means, Prelim would be combined as well as Paper 1
of Mains Exam will be same for all three exams. Some part from
Paper 2 is also same for all three exams except in PSI mains
there are Lots of Norms/ Acts because all acts are important
parts of your job therefore they are in your syllabus.
