1.      Q: How did you become interested in this career?

A: I became interested in this career for many years. My interest in buildings and
architecture design are the reasons I like this career. I also like the creativity that is
allowed in this job and the career pays very well.

 2.      Q: What are the aspects of this career that you like?

A: I like that it is well needed and in demand. I like the freedom it allows to live and
work anywhere, and I like the different architecture styles one can create. I like the
communication it requires and the option to work with a team or work solo as well.

3.      Q: What are the aspects of this career that you dislike?

A: I do not dislike any aspects of this job. I love it all and that is why I chose it.
Maybe there is stress to make your clients happy and satisfied with your work. I
might come up with a creative idea I like, but the client might not.

4.      Q: Which classes or training will you take in college?

A: The classes I plan to take in college are physical sciences, mathematics, liberal
arts, architectural design, history and theory, construction and courses related to my
major.

5.      Q: Is their opportunity for advancement in this career field?

A: Yes, leading architects can make up to 60 dollars or more an hour, not only that a
licensed architect can check their own work and get paid a lot more.

6.      Q: Can you describe what would be your daily work?

A:  Get to an office and work with a team to design and please our client.  There may
be a lot of plans made before one is selected that will be built.  There is a lot in the

A: I would look for someone hardworking and trustworthy and someone who could
step outside their comfort zone and be creative.

10.  Q: What one thing would you do differently regarding your career?

A: One thing I would differently is a licensed architect to be more certified and

qualified for the job. I would aim to do it sooner in my career than later.

11.  Q: What is your advice for someone who is interested in this field?

A: Some advice I would give to someone who is interested in this field is to get
licensed in architecture and take internships to get a higher chance to get a job. Be
creative and ambitious.
