PALM YOUR EYES to Bring in Healthy Energies, Increase Energy Flow, and to Balance the Brain
Circuits that Receive Visual Stimuli
• Rub Hands Together—Shake Them Off—Palm the Eyes
 Extend Thumbs on Temples
 Cross Baby Fingers Over Third Eye, Extend Rest of Fingers Up to Hairline
 Hold for 1-3 Minutes

USE SOFT, TINY SPINDLE-CELL PINCHES to Release Stuck Energies and Rebalance Vision
• Pinch Eyelids and around the Orbital Bone
• Pinch Lightly along Temples to Reset the Eye Muscles
• Massage the Orbital Bone

TAP EYELIDS to Bring Energies into Motion and to Reset the Eye’s Signaling to the Brain
• Lay One Finger over an Eye and Tap on that Finger with the Other Hand

DAILY EYE ENERGY HYGIENE

• Upon Waking Up in the Morning, Massaging around the Eyes Stimulates Stomach Meridian,
Connecting You to Your Own Rhythm
• Take Some Time to Do Palming in Bed, Before Getting Up and Going; Tap and Rub around the
Eyes to Stimulate Circulation
• Throughout the Day, Take about 2 Minutes Every Hour or Two to Clear/Re-Balance Your Eyes
 Shift from Close Vision to Far Vision, from Focus to Scanning, and Keep Your Head
Moving
• Periodically, while Reading or Working on the Computer, Massage around the Eyes and then
Palm for 1-3 Minutes
• Figure-8 the Eyes
• Frequently Wash Glasses in Cold Water
• Work on the Ergonomics of Good Eye Support
 Use Good Light (Full Spectrum when Possible) and Give Your Eyes Extra Attention when
this is Not Possible
 Sit at the Appropriate Distance from Computers, TVs, and Reading Materials to Avoid
Unnecessary Eye Strain
• Do the Cover the Eyes Exercise Several Times a Day to Stimulate Flow and Balance between
the Energies of the Eyes and the Rest of the Body

COVER THE EYES EXERCISE

1. Cover the Eyes with Fingers—Inhale—Exhale


2. Inhale with Eyes Still Covered; Exhale while Dragging Fingers Across Eyes and Out to Temples
3. Inhale while Dragging Fingers Up over Ears; Exhale while Dragging Fingers Down Behind Ears
to Shoulders; Hang Fingers on Shoulders at Neck
4. Inhale, Cross Arms, Placing Fingers on Opposite Shoulders; Exhale, Smoothing Hands Down
Arms to Forearms
5. Inhale, Place Hands Flat Across Ribs Under Bust Area
6. Exhale while Sweeping Fingers Down Legs and Off Feet at Toes
7. Inhale While Sweeping Fingers Back Up Legs to Under Arms
8. Exhale While Sweeping Fingers Down and Off the Body at Side of Waist
