 ABSTRACT

The project titled as “Crime file Management System“ is a software that

provides facility for registering crimes, complaints, missing persons, show

most wanted person details. This system will help to manage all the activities in

a police station using computers. Currently all the works are done manually, by

computerizing all the activities inside a police station can be managed easily and

effectively. This software allows the administrator to maintain, update, edit and

save all the registers, Charge Sheet, Case History Reports etc in easy manner

without maintaining heavy registers books and taking much stress to update or edit

the information. This software is done using VB.NET as Front end and oracle 10g

as backend on Windows XP platform.
