What traits make Pertelote's character


different from Chanticleer's?
- Chanticleer has ruddy comb was like coral in hue, his bill, jet black and his legs and toes were
blue. And Pertelote’s is the noble cock lord to seven hens who followed and adored him. The
traits of chanticleer are happy, convincing, proud, and popular. While Pertelote is smart,
friendly, courteous and loving.

husband's dream? Did it come true?
- He dreamed that Chanticleer is walking around the yard, a hungry hound pounced on him. It
was red and yellow with black-tipped tail and ears. Its pointed snout backed up by two
glowing eyes that made him groan with fright. Lady pertelote’s says that dreams are
nothing but just a dream. She also says that most dreams are the result of overeating. Yes,
the dream come true.
