In this activity, my students are going to use Draw is Island to create multiple shapes.
Pedagogy

Activity 1. The class will be introduced to the following shapes: circle, square,
rectangle, and triangle. They will compare larger and smaller shapes,
describe the location, and identify representation of plane figures.
2. The students will be shown different shapes as a class. Then, we will
describe these shapes. After we get an idea of all the different shapes and
names, each student will be given a bag of shapes. The bag will contain
each shape, small and large. They will be instructed to take the shapes out
of the bag, then to glue them under the shapes name and location (small

Mobile
App 1. Drawisland does not have a mobile app but there is an app called
Option Whiteboard, that will associate the same assignment with drawisland.

2. Although the website cannot be accessed by using an app, it can be

accessed through web browsers, Google, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and
more. To access this, download or use your current web browser (does
not cost to download browser). Then, search www.drawisland.com.
This will bring you to the home page where you can use it for free
without creating an account. This can be accessed through a desktop,
laptop, or tablet.

The whiteboard app can be located on the apple store, which is for
free. On here you can use an electronic pencil or marker to create
shapes in different colors.
