Summary
I am a Quality Manager with 20 years of experience in Tobacco
industry both on Manufacturing and Quality areas. I have worked
extensively in supporting PMI affiliates in improving processes and
product quality, that allows me to travel around the world.
Currently, I lead the Quality department at Philip Morris International
– Papastratos (Greece), a company who is producing RRP products
for PMI. In this role I lead the factory Quality department assuring
the full Compliance of manufactured products (RRP) with the
requirement of the established Quality Management System
(QMS). Support the innovation in the organization by ensuring
quality systems are followed and continually improved. Deliver
support to all relevant departments and/or production center in
order to design, realize and develop highest quality standards
in each process. Guarantee the compliance of the organization
against relevant quality standards. In previous experience I have
been driving activities such as Manufacturing Support (technical
and quality related aspects), Product Related Special Situations
(Crisis Management), Industrialization and Deployment of Tracking
and Tracing Systems, Material Quality Assurance (Qualifications,
improvements and processes), and I have deep experience in
Cigarette manufacturing (Technical and Maintenance aspects).
Colleagues know me as a leader that can improve the overall
performance of an organization by developing people and by making
them redirecting their mindset into the direction of more efficient,
effective and simple business processes. In addition, I always show
a “can do” attitude, while being always positive and assertive, to both
exceed the what and the how expectations.
I do not have the pretention to know everything, instead I
demonstrate humility in knowing my limitations and work hard every
day to improve my weak areas so that I delivery the highest quality
work it is expected. This implies that I set high standards for myself
and others.
