Us
❑ Our mission is to provide a rewarding entertainment experience to our customers and help the industry
connect with the consumers. We are Balkani Infotainment Pvt. Ltd., a young media and entertainment
company based in Bangalore. We started 5 years ago as an entertainment news portal in Kannada and
English through http://www.balkaninews.com/. We have expanded into film promotion, studio for
audio-video content creation & post-production, and Internet content services.

❑ We are expanding our entertainment services in other languages also. We are a group of film industry
people who have decided to use our experience and passion for film and entertainment to create a new
way of creating content for and connecting the industry, the market and the fans. We are currently
testing our service in Hindi, Marathi to customize news to such audiences and enter new markets. As
many as 60 lakh viewers are being reached on a monthly basis through our news portal.

❑ Further through social media we are able to reach another 35 lakh viewers, bringing our total reach to
95 lakh viewers. We formed Balkani Infotainment to solve problems in the industry that we ourselves
faced as film industry professionals. We first started with the aim of disseminating Kannada film news
to its fans all across Karnataka. As we started created and serving entertainment news to the Kannada
audience, we realized that there are many areas where changes could be brought.
