1 Project Summary

1.1 Executive summary:

In today’s electronic age, people are starting to have less and less paper. Fortunately, there is still a long
way to go before we lose this vital human product. There will come a time when papers will be rare and will
become one of the most needed things. In the case of making paper, it takes up to 14% of harvest wood since we
usually cut down trees and as a result, deforestation became the number one environmental problem that we are
encountering right now.

Due to the involvement to lots of paperwork, we have seen an opportunity about making a profit with the
already used papers. From newspapers to paper wrappings, papers are everywhere, creating large amount of
waste. We came up with recycling it to make a profit, instead of seeing them being scattered around. We
experimented on how to use them again for the second time but with the same intensity as having a new one
with improved quality and designs, making it a manufacturing business. Promoting environmental sustainability
at the same time, we came up with the natural way of recycling the papers and focusing with the quality,
physical characteristics, price strategy, and corporate social responsibility.

For the distribution of the product, it will begin locally in the province of Oriental Mindoro, specifically
Pinamalayan. The product will be distributed to all the small and large stores in Pinamalayan but the main store
will be located at the Pinamalayan Public Market.
