2. Affective- Integrate the moral lesson of the story in real life.

c. Materials- Manila paper, pentouch, pictures, scotch tape, white cartolina,
balloons

1. Why do you think we need to


stock food when there’s a
typhoon coming or calamity?
Answer: Ma’am We need to stock food to be
able to survive from the typhoon or calamity.

B. Motivation
Acting: The teacher will show three (3) picture
of animals. The pupils will demonstrate how the
animal move.
1. Monkey
2. Snake
3. Fish

C. Unlocking Difficulties
Describe the picture in the balloon.
Direction: The teacher will call 2 pupils to pop up
the balloon and let the students describe the
picture.

food for the winter so the Grasshopper
was starving.
4. Ma’am, the ant invite the Grasshopper
inside it’s house and feed the
Grasshopper.
5. Ma’am, before we play around we need
to work first so that we have food
during problematic situation and we can
also help others.

IV. Generalization
The short story is all about the hardworking ant
and the goofy grasshopper. The ant is always
worrying about the winter that’s Why the ant is
working hard to stock food, while the
grasshopper is busy making music and playing
around.The grasshopper forgot that winter is
coming.

V. Valuing
1. Working hard will always be a
blessing in disguise.
2. Playing around won’t Feed us,
manage your time and work
hard.
3. Helping others won’t Make us a
saint, but will make us a good
person.

VI. Evaluation
