Since ancient times, tattooing has been done throughout the world. Tattoos
are far more popular now than they were previously. Tattoos are worn for a variety
of purposes, including attracting attention, self-expression, artistic freedom,
rebellion, and as a visual representation of a personal narrative. The video was all
about the people who have tattoos. But the video mainly focuses on the individual
who has undergone a scleral tattoo. Scleral tattooing is the art of tattooing the sclera,

Didie, a proud member of the Lgbtqia+ community, was introduced first in
the video. For her, tattooing her eyes demonstrates her strength despite her
membership in the lgbtqia+ community. According to her, this symbolizes validation
and confirmation for her identity. She was so brave because she tattooed her sclera
without anesthesia. Despite her criticisms for having all the tattoos on her body, it
did not affect her self-esteem. Still, it continued to advocate for HIV Awareness and
anti-discrimination.

Otomamay Haruki, a Japanese artist, was also featured in the video for doing scleral
tattoos. He tattoed his left eye in Canada, but because it is so expensive, he did his
right eye in the Philippines, where it is far less costly.

Christopher, a call center agent, got his scleral tattoo last year, 2021. According to
him, they had a monkey pet before, and the monkey is a wise animal, so he decided
to copy the black eyes of the monkey. Christopher tried to use a contact lens.
However, his eyes were easily irritated. Thus, he thought of doing some research and
finding a permanent solution to this. After doing some research, he found out about
scleral tattoos, and without hesitation, he tattooed his eyes. For him, doing this helps
him hide his genuine emotions because he was once experienced depression.

For some, a large number of tattoos serve as a statement of self-identity and

self-expectation. To obtain a tattoo, a lengthy process is required due to the
requirement of professional evaluation. This is a long-term commitment that is
perilous in various ways. According to the video shown, I believe that we all have
the right to do anything we want with our bodies. We must, however, consider and
prioritize our own safety first. Though each individual has a unique motivation for
engaging in these behaviors, we should refrain from criticizing or dismissing them.
Allow them to do whatever they want as long as they do not cause us damage.

2) What were the specific issues raised in the video?

Over the last few decades, tattoos and body piercings have grown in
popularity. Tattoos are much more prevalent among teenagers. According to Pew
Research, adults aged 18 to 29 had a 40% likelihood of obtaining a tattoo. Despite
the fact that tattoos are more prevalent than they have ever been, discrimination
