WORK

1. What is your job? 

R: I work as a babysitter. 

2.  Where do you work? Describe your place of work. 

R: I work in an apartment, it has two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room,

two bathrooms, a laundry room and a large garden. 

3. What responsibilities do you have at work? 

R: The responsibilities I have at work are the care, teaching and feeding of a two

year old baby.

4. Describe your activities at work. Do you like your job? Yes, no, why? 

R: In my work, I teach colors, shapes, words, animals, and dynamic games. I like

my job because I love babies and I have a lot of fun with them. 

5. Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job. 

R: My skills for this job are empathy, responsibility, patience, charisma, and

puctuality. My weaknesses are the demand and perfectionism.

6. What was your first day at work like? 


R: My first day of work was exhausting, because I wasn't used to carry a baby or

playing for so long, I also had to learn how to change diapers, make bottles

amoung other new things.

7. Do you have or know about any superstition in your business/work/office?

R: No, I don't have or know of any superstition in my work. 

STUDY

1. What do you study? 

R: I study Psicology.

2. Where do you study? 

R: I study at UNAD in Ibagué.

3. What is your favorite subject? 

R: My favorite subject is psychopathology in childhood and adolescence.

4. What are your responsibilities at University?

R: My responsibilities at University are to fulfill my assignments on time and do it in

the best way to obtain good grades and thus maintain the benefits of the

scholarship.

5. Describe your activities at University. Do you like your career? Yes, no,

why? 
R: The activities that I do at University aren't many because I study virtual, so they

are basically attending classes and participating or commenting on the forums with

my classmates. I like my career because when I graduate I will be able to help

many people feel good about themselves and have a fuller life. 

6. Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job. 

R: My skills for this job is knowing how to listen, be respectful, kind, honest,

empathetic and impartial. My weakness is insecurity because I'm afraid of not

being good at my job. 

7. What was your first day at University like? 

R: My first day at University was confusing and a drastic change for me, as I wasn't

used to studying virtual, but I was able to adapt quickly in the first week.

8. Do you have or know about any superstition in your University? 

R: No, I don't know any superstitions about my university.

1. What is your job?

R: I am Architect

2. Where do you work? Describe your place of work.

R: In a work that remains in Alvarado. It is an empty lot, it is very hot and we are

paving roads and building social zones.

3. What responsibilities do you have at work?

R: I am the site resident, in charge of personnel, materials and construction

management.

4. Describe your activities at work. Do you like your job? Yes, No. Why?

R: If I like my job, I really like guiding people, learning from them and making

construction a reality.

5. Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job.

R: My skills are respectful, honest and kind. I don't think I have weaknesses, since

you always learn from others.

6. What was your first day at work like?

R: I was scared but people helped me adapt quickly.

7. Do you have or know about any superstition in your business/work/office?

R: I don't have any superstitions, I always pray when I leave the house for work.

R: I study psychology

R: I study at the UNAD university in the city of Ibagué.

3. What is your favorite subject?

R: My favorite subject is personalidad.

4.What are your responsibilities at University?

R: Be dedicated, accomplished, and committed to learning.

5. Describe your activities at University. Do you like your career? Yes, No.

Why?

R: I have virtual meetings with tutors and classmates, I read, research and carry

out activities. I really like my career, even though I am already an architect, I

always wanted to be a psychologist that is why I am studying psychology.

6. Describe your skills and weaknesses for this job.

R: My skills are responsibility, punctuality and the most important thing is that I do

what I like.

My weaknesses are time, because I work, I have children and it is difficult to

manage time.
7. What was your first day at University like?

R: I liked it because it was induction and I met my classmates and some tutors, as

well as the management of the virtual platform.

R: I don't know of any superstitions.

Volunteer Coordinator (Part-time)
SALARY Starting salary is $15.00 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Update curriculum in Canvas class
sites
2. Support teachers and students on
technical and scheduling issues.
3. Assist students from diverse
backgrounds and learning levels
with patience.
4. Assist students with instructional
computer assisted programs and
computer access issues.
5. Represent the AEL program as
needed to partner institutions, local
industry and community
organizations.
6. Recruit, train and evaluate
volunteers.
7. Coordinate with local literacy
councils to recruit, train and
coordinate placement of volunteers.
8. Responsible for day-to-day activities
and case management of AEL
volunteer tutor program.
9. Maintain appropriate records for the
program, student progress,
volunteer hours and additional as
needed.
10. Maintain certification by
participating in required annual
professional development training
for recertification
11. Help students with development of
time management, test taking
strategies and study skills.
12. Monitor activity in the classroom to
help ensure a professional and

environment.
