MODULE 1: COURSE ORIENTATION

Welcome to Physical Education 3 course orientation! I look forward to virtually meeting and working with you all, and
helping you prepare for this course.

This module packet has every lesson and assignment you will see in the module. Module packets can be used for those
who experience issues with internet access and/or connectivity. This means that with this module packet, you can review
all course materials offline. However, you will still need to complete assignments and activities, such as discussion posts,
online.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will provide physical activities for the purpose of optimizing health and fitness dance.
It pertains to the study, demonstration and practice of fitness dance or other form of dance activities, emphasizes in the
learning of various dances, its classification, history, development and values that includes the interpretation of the basic
dance steps and dance pattern.

COURSE OUTLINE: Introduction of the course

Main Topics:

 Philippines Folk dance

 Elements and forms of Dance
 Hip -Hop or Street Dance
 Ballroom Dancing
o The closed hold dance or modern standard category
o The Latin American category

GRADING SYSTEM:

Midterm + End term = Final 60% - attendance, online participation, written practical quiz and assignment

2 40% - written and practical examination

Total 100%

PROFESSORS EMAIL AVAILABILITY AND POLICIES:

1. Students can send their messages anytime in my messenger or GC account.

2. Don't forget to always include your complete name, course & section and the topic to help the teacher
identify your messages.
3. The teacher will respond to your messages within 24 hours or as soon as possible.
4. Message only the important things or personal matters/concern that are related to the course or subject.

VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS:

1. NEO LMS is where the teacher can post announcements, quizzes, assignments, and exam or to discuss some
matters regarding the subject or course.
2. For the weekly meeting, Google meet will be posted on the calendar on our NEO LMS.

COURSE POLICIES:

 Communicating with the Teacher

o It is your responsibility to communicate with your teacher about questions or issues that prevent you
from completing assignments or completing this course.
 Inactive Students
o Students who have been inactive as of the end of the 3rd week of the course and who have not
communicated with the teacher will be given a DROPPED grade.
  Plagiarism
o Plagiarism is using someone else’s words instead of your own. In this course, you are expected to use
your own words and ideas, and to acknowledge any sources you use to gather ideas. Plagiarism is not
allowed in this course.

MISSED OR LATE ASSIGNMENTS

1. The students will be given 3 days to comply his/her missed or late assignment or exam prior to the posting of the
announcement of the teacher.
2. If unexpected circumstance occurs that you cannot do your assignment or exam don't hesitate to message your
teacher and state your reason with valid proof.
3. After 3 days if the student cannot comply his/her requirements,assignment or exam there will be a 10-point
deduction each day from the total score.
4. In worse case, when the student cannot comply or communicate with the teacher for almost a month, the score
will be automatically zero.
5. The students will communicate through messenger app for complying the late or missed activity.

WEB /CLASSROOM POLICIES:

1. Dress appropriately in facing the virtual class.

2. Be on time.
3. Always sign in to your respective time for class schedule.
4. Mute your microphone when you're not talking.
5. No food Allowed.
6. Inform or chat privately your teacher if you want to leave your sit for personal necessity.
7. Raise your hand if you want to say something or if you want to ask questions.
8. Always log in your complete name for virtual class.
9. Be aware of your surroundings in virtual class. see to it that you have pleasant and good atmosphere.
10. Stay seated and stay present during the period of virtual class.
