Rhena: Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to greet everyone a lovely Thursday
afternoon. I am Rhena Jean C. Alemania.
Rhena: To formally start this program, may we invite everyone to please rise and
open your cameras for the Opening Prayer prepared by Rhianne M. Pagayunan, and
to be followed by the Philippine National Anthem that is prepared by Jason G.
Villagracia.
Lovigail: You may now take your virtual seats. We, your moderators for today’s
virtual kumustahan would like to extend a very warm welcome to all. We
appreciate you taking time off your busy schedules, especially with our Classroom
Adviser, Madam Sheila B. Lontiong, to join us here in the…
Rhena: Let us start our new school year with hopes and dreams that no matter how
limited we might be, we will do our best to achieve what we call dreams. Also, it is
something magical about success.
Lovigail: If I asked you to name, the first man who walked on the moon. I am
hopeful that I will get a bunch of answers. However, if I asked you who was the
second person, I barely hope that I will get any answers. Because, traditionally, we
do not value the second or third positions as much as we should.
Rhena: After all, it is not only the first person who deserves the fame, name, and a
notable status. Whether you believe it or not, each and everyone deserves because
we all work hard and give our best. Am I right, Lovigail?
Lovigail: Yes Rhena, I agree with you! So, without taking much of your time, let us
now start our program.
Rhena: May we now call on the gorgeous, passionate, and dedicated Adviser of the
Grade 9 Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) – Section Santander, Madam
Sheila B. Lontiong for the Checking of Attendance.
(CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE)
Lovigail: Thank you, madam. (Pause) To break the ice for today’s virtual
kumustahan and to energized everyone, may we now call on Rowan Nicollo L.
Logmao.
(CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE)
Rhena: Wow! That was a fun and a wonderful game. I hope everyone is energized
by our Icebreaker. (Pause) A key distinguishing feature of an online setting is that
communication can often occur via the written word. Because of the body language,
voice, tone, and instantaneous listener feedback of the traditional classroom might
be absent. At this juncture, may we now call on again the Adviser of the Grade 9
Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) – Section Santander, Madam Sheila
B. Lontiong to explain us the Online Meeting Etiquette Rules.
Lovigail: At this point, let us pay attention, and pin our ears back as our class
Adviser, Madam Sheila B. Lontiong will introduce herself to everyone. Please give
her a virtual warm round of applause please. The virtual stage is yours, madam.
Rhena: Now, please prepare and ready yourself as we will ask everyone to
introduce yourselves in a creative or in a unique way. But before we start, we will
have a twist. For us to be able to know who will start and end the introduction, we
will use the SPIN THE WHEEL! So, guys, are you now ready? Let’s start!
Lovigail: And now, that we have some information about each other, let us be
entertained by Cailean Anne A. Sultan for her intermission number. A warm virtual
round of applause, please.
(INTERMISSION NUMBER)
Rhena: That was a great and fantastic intermission number! Keep your passion
burning, Cailean. (Pause) I know for sure that you do not want to be kept waiting!
Now, participate and join us to vote for the 9 SPFL Santander Officers Virtual
Election! A friendly reminder; voting wisely is an act of practical wisdom. If we
choose wise student leaders, they will help us in making the rest of our virtual
classroom wiser too. Vote wisely. Your vote counts! The virtual stage is yours,
Madam Sheila.
(VIRTUAL ELECTION)
(OTHER MATTERS)
Rhena: Thank you madam. I hope that everyone is reminded and informed by the
discussion. (Pause) Now, we’ll have an Open Forum. If you have any queries or
concerns, feel free to unmute your microphone or type it on the chat box, and it will
be entertained by our Classroom Adviser. Thank you!
(OPEN FORUM)
Lovigail: And to formally end this program, be all ears and pay close attention as
we call on the Adviser of 9 SPFL Santander, Madam Sheila B. Lontiong for her
closing remarks. Please give him a virtual warm a round of applause.
(CLOSING REMARKS)
Rhena: Thank you so much to, Madam Sheila B. Lontiong! And before we proceed
to our Closing Prayer, may we request everyone here in the google meet to please
open your cameras for our first picture taking as a class? Thank you so much!
(PICTURE TAKING)
Lovigail: Thank you, everyone! (Pause) Now, please stand and invoke our
Almighty God for our Closing Prayer, prepared by Kassandra Gweneth S. Huganas.
(CLOSING PRAYER)
Rhena: Every beginning has an end, and every end has a new beginning. I am
Rhena Jean C. Alemania. Here’s wishing you love, laughter, and learning!
Lovigail: I am Lovigail B. Panotes. See you and goodluck for the upcoming school
year, everyone.
