MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT : Spot Report re Alleged Qualified Theft

DATE : November 8, 2021

1. Reference: Police Blotter of this Station with Entry No 2021-11-1108.

2. Above reference pertains to the incident that transpired at about 12:00 PM on

November 8, 2021 inside Masagana Mall, Masagana Compound, Divisoria, Manila.

3. Initial investigation disclosed that at about TDPO, one employee identified as

KAREN POE y SARENO, 35 years old and currently residing at 0175 St. Peter St.,
Central Signal, Taguig City, entered the employee’s quarter and stole several items.
When the suspect was about to leave the mall premises, the duty guard inspect his
belongings, it found out that some of the missing items reported by Drex Melencion who
is also an employee of the said establishment were seen on his bags that reported
earlier, after the said owner notice that some of his belongings were missing.
Immediately, Security Guard ROMEO BACUYAN arrested KAREN POE y SARENO
and brought him to the police station. At the police station, the suspect confessed the
crime he committed with the assistance of his friend namely Dave Asuncion, 36 years
old and currently residing at 10th Avenue, Brgy. Socorro, Quezon City.

4. Elements of Follow-up and Intelligence Operatives coordinated with the mall

management for possible review of CCTV footages.
