RESOLUTION NO. 01 SERIES OF 2021

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF DIGITAL ELECTION FOR THE

SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT OF SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022 AND ALLOWING
OTHER QUALIFIED CLASSROOM OFFICERS TO RUN FOR THE ELECTIVE
POSITION DUE TO LOW NUMBER OF CANDIDATES

WHEREAS, as mandated on the stipulated OUA MEMORANDUM NO. 00-0821-0140, S.2021,

Interim Guidelines on the conduct of Students Government Elections for School Year 2021-2022
Under the New Normal.

WHEREAS, IN THE INTERIM GUIDELINES IN THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT

ELECTION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022 UNDER THE NEW NORMAL in case there are
limited number of sections in a specific grade level (for grade level qualifications), the COMELEC
may allow to lower the grade level qualifications to accommodate SPG/SSG candidates. 

WHEREAS, as stated IN THE INTERIM GUIDELINES IN THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT

ELECTION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022 UNDER THE NEW NORMAL AND WAS
STATED IN ENCLOSURE NO.5: SPG/SSG STANDARD ELECTION CODE PART II, if it is
not feasible to conduct an election (manually) because of existing IATF rules and regulations.

WHEREAS, as stated IN THE INTERIM GUIDELINES IN THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT

ELECTION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022 UNDER THE NEW NORMAL AND WAS
STATED IN ENCLOSURE NO.5: In case there is a small number of students who show interest to
run in a large or mega school in all grade levels, the COMELEC Adviser shall opt not to conduct
Grade Level Elections and shall directly proceed to SPG/SSG Elections or Appointment of
SPG/SSG Officers.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the

Kaunlaran High School Supreme Student Comelec to approve the conduct of digital election of
Supreme Student Government and allowing other qualified classroom officers to run for the
elective position due to low number of candidates.

We, the undersigned, hereby certified that the resolution that was passed during the meeting at
which a quorum was present on 27 th day of September 2021 and the foregoing resolution was duly
affirmed by the SSG COMELEC Chairperson and Members, SSG Adviser and SSG Co-Adviser,
SSG Consultant approved by School Head.
