The title of the book/ article I have read is: Royal Caribbean Cruises
b

AUTHOR’S LOGIC: The author is conveying the message/idea of:

Royal Caribbean Cruises is a global company that offers vacation services with forty-one ships and six
brands. There are services and onboard activities offered, which include sun decks, simulated surfing,
and facilities for exercise, rock climbing and Royal Promenades. It operates mid-sized ships that have
been updated according to the modern improved technology.

STUDENT’S LOGIC: Provides learners with an opportunity to reflect and think about how they actually solve
problems and how a particular set of problem solving strategies is appropriate for achieving their goal. What is
to be accomplished/learned?
From my standpoint, when I scrutinize the interior and exterior of Royal Caribbean Cruise through a
Youtube clip, their dinning places are flexible where people stay together to have lunch or breakfast and
they can book the services in advance. I also check their services wherein the activities during the day
include rock climbing, golf courses as well as fitness activities. There's also an evening entertainments like
Vega-style shows that are impressive to all the people who enjoy them. There is music for entertainment
in public rooms and ice show, which are a unique performance as well as street performers who are
found only in this ship. Their accommodation includes ocean view cabins, suites, grand pianos and
balcony cabins. The passengers are provided with private lounge, which is a privilege for those who are
most frequent customers. The ships for Voyager class have promenade view and inhabitants use bird’s
eye view to see the city. Royal Caribbean in the recent years has designed larger ships to accommodate
many passengers.

VISION: MAN OF GOD – VIR ENIM DEI. “A leading transformational leadership institution with a unique
Gabrielian Culture of Discipline, Socially Responsible, Interdependent, Functionally Productive, Godly
Individuals and reaching the marginalized to thrive in the global community.
In aligning to the Vision and Mission of the College, I can apply what I have learned from my readings by:
instilling a deeper understanding of new places and things. Through this learning, If I want the best in
onboard entertainment, either a cruise ship or beach resort, I will spring for a newer, larger vessel.

LEARNING DIARY in _______________________BMEC1____________

(Course Code & Description)
Date: _12-12-21_

I learned in our prayer that prayer is not pleas or bargains in the hope that I can convince “someone up
there” to fix my problems. The recognition of what answered prayer looks like and how it affects us is
also a personal thing.

My action today is to figure out the magic point where I can achieve success without much stress, and
that I’ll remain motivated to keep taking action.

In our lessons for today, I have learned about:

1. The subject Operation Management generally includes managing quality assurance programs,
supervising, hiring, and training other employees, monitoring existing processes and analyzing
their effectiveness; and creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
2. Marketing is responsible in developing and innovating the products and services that production
and operation should produce and offer.
3. An internal analysis is an exploration of your organization’s competency, cost position and
competitive viability in the marketplace.
4. SWOT analysis is conducting an internal analysis often incorporates measures that provide useful
information about your organization’s strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats.
5. The main argument against BREXIT is driven by economic factors.
6. Quantitative Techniques are very useful numerical tool use to process and analyze data to make
managerial and operational decisions.
7. A ratings identify restaurants and dining according to their quality, using notations such as stars
or other symbols, or numbers. Stars are a familiar and popular symbol, with scales of one to three
or five stars commonly used.
8. The Michelin star recognizes the quality and consistency of the food on offer , regardless of how
formal or informal a setting is, this can be a good used for restaurant’s reputation, name, and
honor which can be a good advantage against the competitor.
9. The Michelin two stars meaning the restaurant has excellent cuisine delivered  in a unique way.
10. The Michelin three stars meaning the restaurant has exceptional cuisine and is worth a special
trip just to visit.
I will memorize the above learning points, explain them in my own words, and apply them in our activities.

I can connect my learning today with the vision and mission of our school by:
Reconsidering skills like multitasking and eliminate distractions during my study sessions so that I can
fully engage both my body and mind during cram sessions. T ake a good control of my own calendar and
schedule because it can help me to accomplish my task and goals. Study a little bit every day so that
I’ll be continually reviewing things on my mind, and it helps me to avoid stress of last-minute
cramming if there’s a surprise quiz or exam. And stay motivated and let my optimistic side got
the best of me so that I can keep in mind my reasons for doing all this hard work and it reminds
me my goals and ambitions.
