Cilembu sweet potato is a sweet potato cultivar which is a local race from Sumedang ,West Java,
Indonesia. Cilembu sweet potatoes are usually more special because these tubers when roasted
will release a sticky liquid, sugar honey taste. Therefore, Cilembu tubers are also called honey
tubers. If the tubers are sweet in general, the sweetness of Cilembu tubers is sweeter and stickier
with honey sugar. This sweet taste makes extra energy for those who consume it.

Fresh Cilembu sweet potato (Honey sweet potato) is a sweet potato cultivar which is a local race
from Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia.

Product Characteristic:
• Appearance : Long and cylindrical with a slightly irregular shape
• Flesh : Very sweet, creamy, and fluffy
• Color : Reddish or light brown, and will change into a reddish-yellow
color when baked
• Taste : When baked, honey sweet potatoes have a very distinct aroma
and delicious sweet taste with a sugary, honey-like glaze

Usage:
• Best eaten roasted or baked for the honey sweet syrupy glaze. Great addition to your
BBQ. 90-100°C in oven for 1.5 hours, wrapped in Alu-Foil, and flip over every 30
minutes.
• Short-cut method, just put it in Rice Cooker and steam it with water for 20 minutes, and
for best effect roast it, later for 10 minutes. Can also be steamed or boiled.
• Larger pieces may require 5-10 minutes longer cooking time.
