the death toll of ITALY was very high if the disease affect the aged in
the community?

 What is the most important thing to prepare for as population increases?

 Has KNUST reached its carrying capacity?

 Suggest ideas and plans to avert the situation?

 What are major impacts the agriculture society had on the environment?

ANS.

 The death toll of Italy is high when the disease affects the aged in
the community because, as we grow older, we become more
likely to develop health problems because the immune system
becomes weaker as we grow. Thus, the body relies on the
strength of the immune system to overcome or suppress this
disease and since that of the aged is weak, it leads to most deaths.

 Preparing education and jobs for growing youth population.

Beyond all the two billion newborns who will see the light of
day during the coming fifteen years, and the two billion
children who will turn five, more than 1.2 billion young people
will transit into adulthood and begin looking for a job. A
growing young generation presents a major promise for
economic development, technological innovation and social
change. What determines the outcome is often the
opportunities that have been offered to these children in the
younger age, in the form of education and skills training that
makes them competitive in today’s global marketplace.
 YES, KNUST has reached its carrying capacity because some
first years who are supposed to stay on campus now occupy
hostels and homestels which are off campus. Thus, I can say
that KNUST has reached its carrying capacity.

 1. More distant learning students should be admitted by the

school to shorten the population of regular students who stay
on campus.

2. The administration of the school should admit the right

number of students making it easier and also comfortable for
students and the school as a whole.

3. Since most students want to attend KNUST, more KNUST

schools should be built in Ghana to help avert the situation of
reaching the carrying capacity

4. Starting class early, say, 4am or 5am will also check the
number of people who will be on campus at a particular time.

5. More facilities and infrastructures should be built since

there are more unoccupied lands in the school

 1. The agriculture society has helped in the trapping of

greenhouse gases within the crops and soil

2. Mitigating flood risks through the adoption of certain

farming practices

3. Preventing the falling of tress, bush burning and other

negative agricultural activities
4. More tress with wide spread branches which provide
shade, makes it possible for the provision of benches for the
relaxation of both students and staffs
