INTRODUCTION

We, foodmate rice co., had conducted an interview with ages 30 to 60 years old as respondents, as it
can contribute to the putting up of our business. The responses and expectations of these people will be
considered as one of our guides in planning to be effective, interesting and successful.

1. What type of rice do you prefer and purchase the most?

Type of rice No. of people

Sinandomeng 5
Buhaghag na rice 1
Laon 1
Dinurado 5
Jasmine Rice 1

We have different variety of rice, but the type of rice that is being preferred and purchased the most
are Sinandomeng and Dinurado. They said that the price suits in the taste and the smell is aromatic.
They are fragrant and of good taste and is of high quality in a low cost. They taste better than the others
that’s why they are having a great meal with this rice.

2. Do you prefer buying per sack or per kilo?

All of our respondents, they have the same the answer which is sack of rice. The major reason is to
have a stock of rice in their homes and for security purposes. Also they are many at homes that required
a lot of rice every day. Some wants to be practical and they can save more money because it is cheaper
than buying per sack. They also prefer buying per sack because it’s more convenient and conservative
unlike per kilo. In the statement of Luis Baes, one of the father in our group, it is hassle because he is not
always going to the store.

As we ask this question in every parents, they always said that per kilo is good to the family who
cannot afford per sack. But if you have money and have a stable work, kit is advisable to buy per sack.

3. What is your expectation in our business?

We ask them on what will be their expectation in our business and this is their answers:

 They expect that we should be friendly in our customers.

 They that there will be many benefits for your customers.
 They expect that the rice to sell is in affordable prices and fresh production.
 Consistently offering fine rice without the customers spending much. Like even though they are
going to buy per kilo still can save money.
 To serve the customers will all honesty. We should not deceive their customers by putting rice
grains of low quality together with the type of rice we are to purchase.
 We attract more customers than the others.
 We need to do something special so that our store has an edge to their rice store and especially
the consistency of rice should be present.
