The student is expected to: A) Plan a draft of the human body and all the main parts on the outside. B) Develop an oral, or pictorial draft. C) Revise drafts by adding details and words. D) Share oral projects. Anticipatory Set What do we know about the Human Body? Teaching: Input/Mini Lesson Show images and posters. Ask them to fill in the blanks as we go along with the lesson. Teaching: Modeling Students are introduced to a written form on the board. student will begin to fill in the blanks of the writing on the board.
Teaching: Checking for Understanding Students will check the board for understanding, as they write and draw pictures for clarity. Questioning strategies: Asking several times what each is and asking what they are for.
Guided Practice Have students draw themselves as they put their name at the top Independent Practice Independently, students will fill out the passed-out paper. Students are to use proper spelling. Going from top to the bottom of the numbered paper. Closure Students will be able to understand the concept of the outside of the human body. Students will finish the homework completely and bring it back the next day.
