BASIC PRINCIPLES OF EDUCATIONAL PLANNING

Educational planning aids in the identification of educational goals and

objectives. It aids in the decision-making process in terms of schooling. Stakeholders are
crucial in educational planning because they have a vested interest in the school
system's success. With stakeholders, the school may share ideas and practices with
support services. The communication process between the school and stakeholders is
crucial since it may aid in the exchange of ideas and strategies for the school's
improvement.

Educational planning creates defined goals, objectives, and strategies for

successful execution. The planning team should include representatives from several
educational sectors. It is crucial because they create the master plan, sector plans, and
other planning activities.

Data processing and analysis are also part of the educational planning process.
The process of acquiring information and analyzing data is known as data collection. It
is a methodical procedure of acquiring data and observations. The data gathering
process is difficult because it involves several challenges that must be addressed before
the data can be collected and used.
