The Divine Word College of Legazpi – School of Nursing Level 2A students will

hold a lecture named "DWCL: SHE (Sexual Health Education)" as part of their clinical

responsibility in Community Health Nursing.

The " DWCL: SHE (Sexual Health Education)" program seeks to impart

information and skills on the promotion of maternal and child care through family

planning. The program's mission is to "promote maternal and child care via family

planning". In this activity, the following goals are to be achieved:

 Participants should be educated on family planning methods and their importance

through health education, with particular emphasis on:

 Preventing teenage pregnancy and reducing undesired pregnancies.

 Using safe sexual practices, it can help promote reproductive health and

reduce the risk of contracting sexually transmitted illnesses (STIs).

 reduce maternal, infant, and child mortality and morbidity

 Address the need to assist families in achieving their chosen family size within

the context of responsible parenthood to promote social and economic

development and security.

 Provide family planning services in health centers located within the community.

 Participants should be given health kits containing contraceptives and

informational leaflets in order to promote safe sexual practices and the prevention

of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

 Support and participate in the activities of the DWCL and the community.

conduct a seminar on the subject matter mentioned above in the neighborhood of your

barrio. You may be confident that the highest ethical standards will be followed.
