ORAGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR

Perception Process – Intra-Group Behaviours!


We did complete Managerial Economics project in team so I want to share my
observation in that project.

 What were your impressions of what happened in the planning of the presentation
and how things like the assignment of roles and timetables for subsequent
meetings and deliverables unfolded.

Student A – Any of the given time student A was ready for attending project meeting And
also he arranged project meeting many times. He gave valuable strategy on project
planning.

Student B – Student B was giving better idea on her point of view. She interested in
meetings and give good suggestions but sometimes she requests to change schedule
meeting time but she gave best performance in project.

Student C – Whenever in project any problem or misunderstanding created Student C


always ready for helping. One of the good things in this student to take any responsibility
without any hesitation.

Student D – in every meeting except 1 or 2 meeting student D was present. Student A and
Student D was working in one single topic together. But Student D follow immediately
working project.

Student E - Student E was ready for every planning for working in project. but as I remember
he was requesting to changing a time at once.

Others point of view on Me- every one says that very punctual at time and participate
actively in every meetings.

None of the students deny for help planning in project.

 What were the behaviours of the others at the meeting, and why do you think they
acted as they did?

Student A- Student A behave like helping nature and in group if any task was tough for other
he took it responsibility of that particular task.

Student B- Student B was participating in energetically and when she attend meeting she
behave happily with others and active participant in group.

Student C- Student C was very calm and intelligent. He was energetic with creative nature.
Any of tough parts in group student C was explain clearly and happily.
Student D- Student D behave good and participate with obedient and help in project but she
did not attend one or two lecture.

Student E- Student E was very silent in group he attend every meeting but he had not
counter or supporting question in project.

Others point of view on Me- With responsibility taking any topic or points and discuss with
everything any of topic related problem and Overthinking in topic.

 Finally, how do you think that others perceived your behaviour at the meeting?

Student A- point of view of student A on mine is I am very responsible, and obedient about
the topic but one of my disadvantage was over analyse topic. Sometimes speaking speed is
quite low.

Student B- Student B perceived I am very punctual and cooperative nature and with good
understanding. I participated actively and always ready for taking point on any topic with
good behaviour.

Student C- According to student C, I overthink on any given topic and always with good
behave interact with others.

Student D- on Student D point of view always ready to take any topic or point given to him
and obedient about points.

Student E- Student E think that I am very punctual comparing with others and responsible
but some times over analyse topic.

  Did everyone behave similarly in the Team Meetings? Please explain your
observations & reasons in the context of factors influencing Perception.

One of the good thing is All of student behaviour was helping and happy. On the my
observation no one behave bad with any other team members.

Student A, C behave helps everyone and take every responsibility in group which was
challenging.

Student B behave energetic and also accept any challenges but only in one meeting she
was less attentive otherwise she always ready to help. In One meeting she was attend
meeting with resting So we can consider as good and bad both points.

Student D was not attend on one or two meeting but when she was in meeting that time
she gave good participation and understand topic and challenges.
Student E was silent member. He always attend lecture but not to counter or supportive
argument in topic but topic understand easily

All members completed work before given time.

 Please explain & elaborate your Perception about your Team Members of your
Group in the context of "Distinctiveness", "Consensus", " Consistency" - as part of
Attribution Theory.

1) I must say that every student had good distinctiveness because in every topic all
student gave different points which is valuable. on different point of view Student
A,B,C,D,E, and Me all are given good different variety of information which was
valuable.

2) And All the student was Consensus because this project done in team and this is only
possible with if everyone consensus. The project did complete because every
member agree with interest in topic. This all things gave more energy and interest in
topic.

3) Student A,E,C and I gave consistency in Same point but student B and D was minor
different in starting time in project. But after first meeting every student agree in
same point so consistency is part in our team.

 Did you encounter Stereotyping from any of the members or yourself while
working in a Group - in case, yes, please elaborate how you handled the situation?
