TITLE: INVENTORY Of RM / DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

1.0 SCOPE:
Maintenance and Review of Perpetual Inventory for RM and DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

2.0 ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility lies with Inventory Team

SL. No ACTIVITIES

1. Make the annual plan for perpetual inventory at the beginning of the financial
year based on the stock available and ensure that all the items are covered at the
end of the financial year. High value items above Rs. 20000/- per unit should be
done thrice in a financial year.
2. Daily download the stock from SAP

3. Select the item as per annual Inventory Plan for DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID
a particular day.

4 Take the printout of items with stock on day and SAP location & handover the same
to inventory team at shop floor.

5 Inventory team will go to the bin location and will match the physical stock with the
stock on the list given to them. They will endorse their findings on the list given to
them , such as number of pieces found in the location, material found in wrong
location, damaged, or rusted material found

6 Inventory team will return the list to inventory supervisor with their remarks

7 Enter all data in softcopy & Segregates all variance (OK / Positive / Negative)

8 No variance (OK) file and summary of observation in perpetual inventory

would be sent to Telcon officers separately.

9 Inventory supervisor would give the list to inventory team for corrections such as
. keeping the material in right location, applying anti rust on rusted material and
would give requisition to Telcon to approval to shift the damaged material to
quarantine area

10 Inventory supervisor will reconcile Negative & positive variance based on the
movment of material and after reconciliation will send the summary to Telcon.
