1. SCOPE OF WORK
This documented is intended to detect Wall loss if any, general /pitting corrosion due to its service
conditions by Ultrasonic immersion Technique.

2. LOADING AND UNLOADING OF EQUIPMENT


2.1. During Loading the equipment and accessories Hand gloves to be worn.
2.2. Ensure all equipment is stack away from the edge of the lorry bed and secure properly to prevent
falling.
2.3. Ensure provide training on safe handling & manual lift of material to the workforce.
2.4. Hand gloves shall be worn when perform the entire work.

3. SITE SURVEY TO DO IRIS.


3.1. Ensure the proper planning.
3.2. Ensure the isometric drawing with site layout plan is in place.

4. MOBILISATION OF THE EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE & INSIDE THE CLIENT LOCATION.


4.1. Valid license are required in Client.
4.2. All personnel shall completed training prior to enter the site.
4.3. All workers to have DCSM sticker pasted on their safety hat.
4.4. Ensure only authorized and trained person involved in the live plant work are allowed to enter in
the area.
4.5. General Work Permit shall be applied by Permit requestor and approved prior to commencement of
work.
4.6. Pre-Job Safety Briefing shall be conducted by site supervisor in accordance to the MSRA, Daily
work plan and Journey Plan.
4.7. Ensure that all the workers had sufficient rest prior commencing the task.
4.8. Safety glasses, hard hat, long sleeve jacket pants, protective industrial products hand gloves and,
safety boots, Safety Goggle, Ear Plug as per Client PPE policy.
4.9. Before entering to Client site, check the radiation source using survey meter and ensure no leak.
4.10. Site supervisor shall ensure that there is no obstruction in mobilization route and loading and
unloading area.
4.11. Driver shall follow the Site road safety regulation 20 km/h on the road in the plant area.
4.12. Ensure pickup/van operator shall obtain valid license during the entire work.
4.13. Valid Fire Extinguisher with stands. (9kg, ABC type) for vehicle in place.
4.14. No vehicle is allowed for parking except for short delivery during working hour.
4.15. All materials, tools and equipment to be placed and stored in an orderly manner.
4.16. Drink more water when working under the hot climate.
5. UNLOADING OF EQUIPMENT AND TRANSFER TO THE SITE LOCATION.
5.1. During Loading/ unloading the equipment and accessories hand gloves to be worn.
5.2. Ensure all equipment is stack away from the edge of the pickup bed and secure properly to
prevent.

5.3. Ensure provide training on safe handling & manual lift of material to the workforce.
5.4. Leather hand glove s shall be worn when perform the entire work.
5.5. PPE must be worn at all times while performing the entire work.

6. IRIS AT WORKING ON THE GROUND LEVEL


6.1. Ensure that permit to work is enforced and correct prior to carrying out any work.
6.2. The rotation of the inspection head for covering circumference of the tube shall be achieved by
pressurized water supply from the pump arrangement.
6.3. Before that operator should check all water hose and electrical connections are made good, and
that the electronic units are protected from spark.
6.4. To start the inspection the assembly is gradually pulled along the tube towards the operator. The
rate at which the inspection head assembly is moved along the tube governs, the degree of
coverage of the tube, the other end of the tube should be flooded by water throughout the
inspection. The inspection head assembly can then be withdrawn from the tube.
6.5. The above procedure can be repeated for as many tubes are to be inspected during the operating
session.
6.6. The pulling speed of the probe shall be kept constant during the inspection. The pulling speed shall
be at 30-40mm/s depending on the rotating speed (32-45 rev/sec) of the turbine.

7. IRIS AT WORKING ON THE ABOVE GROUND LEVEL (WORKING AT HEIGHT)


7.1. Ensure workers maintain communication with each other during passing of material
7.2. Always stay away from line of fire when passing on different level of scaffold platform.
7.3. Use tool bag to carry the equipment by using rope.
7.4. General Work Permit Form is issued and approved by relevant parties.
7.5. The workers must complete the course before entering to the work site.
7.6. Hook up SRL at/ above waist level.
7.7. 100% tie-off at strong anchorage point.
7.8. Harness & SRL to be inspected with tag and check prior to use.

8. HOUSEKEEPING
8.1. Housekeeping is a must "Before, During & End" of work day.
8.2. Materials must never be left on the ground but stacked neatly on stillage and hard barricaded.
8.3. Work area must be swept clean of all times.
