NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 3rd December, 2021
No.F.DPCC/EIA/MISC/09-Vol-IV/5859-5885.—WHEREAS in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section (3) of the section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the
Government of India, Notification number S.O. 1533 (E) dated 14 September 2006, the Ministry of Environment,
Forests and Climate Change, Government of India has constituted State Level Environment Impact Assessment
Authority (SEIAA) Delhi vide Notification number S.O 3631 (E) dated 6 September 2021 and to assist the said
authority, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has
constituted the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC), Delhi as well;
2. AND WHEREAS in pursuance of the above referred Notification dated 6 September 2021, the Government of
National Capital Territory of Delhi is to notify the Agency to look after the Secretariat functions for the effective
functioning of the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Delhi and the State Level Expert
Appraisal Committee (SEAC), Delhi constituted for the National Capital Territory of Delhi under the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986); and
3. NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of paras 10 and 11 of the said Notification No. S.O 3631 (E) dated 6
September 2021, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby notifies the Delhi Pollution Control
Committee (DPCC), situated at ISBT Building, 4th & 5th floor, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110006, as the Agency to act as
Secretariat and shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other
facilities in respect of all statutory functions of the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA),
Delhi and the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC), Delhi.
4. The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) shall arrange to pay sitting fee, traveling allowance and dearness
allowance to the Chairmen and Members of the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Delhi
and the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC), Delhi. For this purpose, Delhi Pollution Control Committee
will issue a separate order expeditiously.
