Working Drawings
is any drawing or set of drawings that are used as
basis for the production or execution of a concept
or a design. These drawings include information
that specify or provide details to be used for the
execution of the project.
In the requirements based on the National Building
Code of the Philippines, the drawings are grouped by
type of profession/work into Documents. The following
items present the various drawings required for each
work.

Civil/Structural Document
pertains to the structural elements of the project as prepared by
the Civil or Structural Engineer. The drawings included in this
document are:
1. Location Plan
2. Electrical Layout (Lighting and Power)
3. Schedule of Loads, Transformers,
Generating/UPS Units
Sanitary Document
pertains to the drawings required to construct sanitary
facilities, such as sewage treatment plant, and sewage
disposal systems, of the project as prepared by the
Sanitary Engineer. The drawings included in this
document are:
1. Location
2. Site Development Plan
3. Detailed Plan and Layout
Plumbing Document
pertains to the drawings required for the construction of
plumbing systems such as water supply lines, drainage
lines, and sewerage system within or adjacent to the
building of the project as prepared by the Master
Plumber. The drawings included in this document are:
1. Location Plan
2. Site Plan
3. Plumbing Plans, Layouts, and Details
4. Isometric Drawing of Plumbing System
Mechanical Document
pertains to the drawings required for mechanical works
of the project as prepared by the Professional
Mechanical Engineer. The drawings included in this
document are:

2. Key Plan
3. Sections of Building and Equipment
4. Details of Mechanical Equipment
Fire Protection Document
pertains to the drawings required for fire protection
system of the project as prepared by the Professional
Mechanical Engineer. The drawings included in this
document are:

3. Single Line and Riser Diagram
4. Isometric of Electronic System
Geodetic Document
pertains to the description of the lot to be used for the
project as prepared by the Geodetic Engineer. The
drawings included in this document are:

3. Plan and Layout of Interior
4. Interior Wall Elevations
5. Pattern and Finishing Details
SPECIFICATIONS
is an integral part of a construction plan. It is a precise
explicit statement or enumeration of particulars as to
size, shape, quantity, or color and manner of making
things right.

✓ It should be brief.
✓ It should be definite.
✓ It should be determinate.
✓ Specification should not be ambiguous.
✓ Specifications should not be unnecessary severe.
